1-800-IRELAND: A Sweet Contemporary Romance Novella (Flipping For You Book 3) Kindle Edition
★★ Fall in love with clean, wholesome, and cozy small-town Irish romance, filled with delightful characters and brimming with joy! ★★
A strong-minded Irishwoman is pursuing her dream. A disillusioned businessman is ready to retire.
Can two determined people find true love at the end of an Irish rainbow?
From USA TODAY bestselling author Josie Riviera comes a heartwarming sweet romance about Irish grit, with a good deal of decorating and old-fashioned renovation thrown in.
Irishwoman Kathleen Kelly wants to renovate her new teahouse in America to a sparkling shine, enticing droves of customers to Roses, NC. But the project quickly takes a turn for the worse when her hard work falls flat.
Rob Taylor knows a thing or two about running a business. He’s built Rob’s Marvelous Muffins into a thriving business. With Rob in Miami and Kathleen in Roses, a May-December romance isn’t part of Kathleen’s carefully laid-out plans. Besides, they’ve both admitted to each other how unlucky they are in love. It's better to leave romance out of the picture and stick to friendship and hard work. However, Kathleen has no choice but to face what she is most afraid of … commitment.
And it will take more than hot tea and marvelous muffins to bridge the gap between them.
If you enjoy sweet and wholesome romance, filled with appreciation for everything Irish, plus fun, endearing characters, you will love this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars
"When I looked for other books from Josie Riviera and saw that 1-800 Ireland was coming out I knew right off the bat I needed the book. It's a sweet contemporary romance novella. It is about an independent Irish woman named Kathleen who has always dreamt about opening a tea house in the States. Also about Rob also known as the Muffin Man. What I did like about this book was the main male wasn't this drop dead gorgeous guy. Rob was more like the everyday guy, bald, stocky, and older. Not the typical main character guy I have always read about. Kathleen left Ireland to fulfill her dream of opening the tea shop in a small town."

"Josie Riviera writes such great romance stories, whether historical or contemporary, and I knew I had to read this one just from seeing the title of the book.
The storyline is a beautifully written clean romance. I enjoy romances where the characters are more mature and relatable. Josie Riviera has created characters with interactions that are believable, cast in a setting described so vividly it made me want to live there!"
Amazon Review by C McDonnough:

"I loved the depth of the characters that was created, and how they worked through and overcame their own personal hurts to be able to come together as a couple. This is the first book by this author that I have read, and it won't be my last. I can't wait to dig into her catalog and read some more."
From the Author
1-800-IRELAND is the third book in my contemporary sweet romance series: Flipping for You. I hope you enjoyed it. If you did, please help other people find this book and write a review.
The book is also available in Paperback and Audiobook.
In this story, the series continues in the charming town of Roses, North Carolina, and follows 1-800-CUPID, and 1-800-CHRISTMAS.
In 1-800-IRELAND, I gave Kathleen, from Oh Danny Boy, her own story. And, because Rob is a reader favorite from previous 1-800 books, I decided to explore a May/December romance and a guaranteed Happily Ever After. It is my hope that you enjoyed these fun, quirky, and endearing characters.
Stay tuned for another book in the series. We may be off to Miami, or Ireland, or even a ghost town.
Happy Reading!

- Reviewed in the United States on March 22, 2025Josie Riviera’s 1-800-Ireland is a delightful book! I have enjoyed reading the love story that Josie developed around her Irish main character. Many beloved characters from the previous books in the Flipping for You series found their way into the story she developed around an Irish Tea Room. I would definitely recommend this series and I will be looking forward to the next book, 1-800-Summer.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 17, 2020Return to Roses, North Carolina in this delightful third installment of Josie Riviera’s 1-800 series.
This time we meet Kathleen Kelly, who has recently moved from Ireland to open a new teahouse in Roses. She discovers that getting her new business up and running by St. Patrick’s Day is going to be a time consuming chore.
Rob Taylor, who is a friend of Kathleen’s realtor, owns a chain of bakeries in Miami and has been recruited to come visit to see what he can do to help. He is not your stereotype romantic hero: Rob is an overweight, bald, and older man.
This is a romance, so there is no surprise to the reader when the two are attracted to each other. The relationship appears to be flourishing in spite of the age difference before Kathleen suddenly pulls back from her connection with Rob.
Is there a way to repair the hurt? He owns his bakeries and she has her teahouse. Can they work something out?
This novella is a clean, Christian romance. Pick up your copy of 1-800-Ireland to find out the rest of the story.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 2, 2019A different book with an interesting romance where the hero is fifty and the heroine much younger. I enjoy the hero a lot. He’s a realistic handsome middle-aged man with gray hair and some extra pounds. The owner of pastry shops, he’s not shy about tasting his delicious confections, without worrying about loading on more weigh. I like his character, generous, helpful, with the self-confidence of a man who built his business from scratch and made it successful, yet he hides a certain shyness around women and pursues the woman he likes by helping her in her business. All in all, he’s the type of hero any woman would love to have at her side.
The heroine hails from Ireland, and shares some of her brogue in addition to her Irish bread and sweets as she opens a tea house and builds her business in Carolina.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 15, 2022A delightful romance novella between Rob and Kathleen. We've met both characters in previous books, and now they get their own story and romance! Rob is an unlikely "hero" in this story--he's overweight, balding and a successful business man, owning several muffin shops in Miami. Kathleen helped her former boss Danny Brady run his coffee shops and now wants a new start--across the pond--in the U.S.A. She's young, beautiful, with lots of energy and determination. When Rob and Kathleen meet, a friendship develops--or could it be more? A fun and quick read!
- Reviewed in the United States on July 5, 2019This was a fun read with a couple characters that were previously introduced in other books. Kathleen is a young Irish woman who has come to America to open her own tea house. She is introduced to the older successful “Muffin Man” by her realtor & friend. How these two workaholics get along is a sweet story!
- Reviewed in the United States on April 28, 2019A great story of an Irish lady with a dream to own a tea house in the United States. She selected the town & an agent to work out the deal.
A clean, fun story

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful clean romance.
She was opening a tea shop in Rose, a far way from her native Ireland. He had been a very successful restauranteur and agree to help. They were attracted to each other right away.
This is a May, December contemporary, clean, romance set in a small town. The characters are personable and interesting, drawing you into their story. The romance is wonderful and the story flows well. I enjoyed the interaction between the main characters and especially their dialogue. This is a clean romance that leaves you feeling positive.

4.0 out of 5 stars Sweet romance
I really enjoyed Rob and Kathleen’s sweet romance story. It’s not long and drawn out like a lot of similar stories I’ve read. I gave it a 4 because it feels like the women in all three of the stories I have read in this series are being bought.
