    Emotionally gripping! This book grabbed me in its clutches and never let go. From the first page I was transported to another world continuing the adventure of our beloved characters Diamond and Hugo. It was action-packed and heart-pounding! Definitely not to miss if you’ve read the previous books in the series!
    I loved the ups and downs and twists and turns throughout the story. I couldn’t put this book down!
    There was so much raw emotion in this book I could feel each of the characters emotions as they experienced them. It’s one of the things I love so much about this series is how real and lifelike the characters are; I can connect with them as if I was them.
    Diamond and Hugo’s journey is far from over I can’t wait to discover what happens next!

    I absolutely loved the book! I didnt know beforehand that the series was not going to be finished, but I’m actually glad it didnt. Though I really want to know what will happen, it is also just a greatly developed story that deserves enough words to describe it. In that sense there were even a few things in this book that I felt could have had a bit more attention. Also, for me it was some time since I read the last book and given the amount of characters, perhaps a glossary with some descriptions could be nice? I saw this in another series Im reading and found it quite a nice way to fast track me back into the setting.

    This a good story, just not great. It started to lag in the middle for sure. And the thought that an insecure, frightened girl could not only accept being told she is a queen immediately, immediately start to think and behave as one, is just ludicrous. It's almost as if the author forgot who she was writing about, and fast forwarded the character's development, while keeping the rest of the story at normal pace. How many books are left?

    Holy crap! I think I just about emptied myself of every emotion reading this. Massive thanks for Karen and the publishers for letting me have this pre-release (I signed up for a review edition but never actually thought I'd get it, so I was thrilled!)

    So much happens in this book. So much love. So much heartache. So much Violence. So many twists and turns and god that ending is killing me.

    I loved the character development in this. Diamond has gone from strength to strength and she is badass in this book, totally badass. Hugo changes amazingly too, in so many different ways, and after everything he goes through I have nothing but respect.

    The other thing I like is that this deals with so many serious issues that aren't tackled well normally. In this book though, they are tackled perfectly and sensitively, but with a raw realism that is needed.

    I can't wait to read the next book especially given how this ends. I just really want a happy ending for them. I think I'll cry my heart out otherwise.

From book 1 I was captivated now on book 3 I feel like im in Hugo and diamonds world a world where the horrible queen will not give up I really can,T stand her.
