One Hundred Decisions
Thrust into parenthood with the arrival of the little brother she never knew existed, Natalie faces the enormous task of handling a rebellious twelve-year-old. When the little troublemaker steals from a local business owner, Natalie must not only tackle her first true test in parenting but also face her growing feelings for the handsome store owner … who she may have threatened to poison.
Life coach Jake Powers got a second chance after receiving a kidney transplant a decade ago. When a pink envelope arrives bearing a heartfelt letter from the mother of his donor, Jake is drawn to Aspen Cove by the need to give back to the family who gave him so much. But when he sees Natalie struggling to get her brother on the right track, he’s drawn to the beautiful woman with stone walls built around her heart.
One Hundred Glances
When a bout with Lyme disease leaves artist Sosie Grant unable to paint, she comes back to Aspen Cove to say goodbye to the only life she’s ever known. Abandoned by her agent in the small town, she is forced to rely on the kindness of Baxter Black, the reluctant resident asked to take her in.
Construction worker Baxter Black isn’t good at caring for people. With the town’s recent growth, business is booming, and taking care of Sosie Grant is the last thing he needs. But when he sees her struggling to get her life on track, he finds himself drawn to the beautiful woman with an artist’s eye and a heart of gold.
One Hundred Lessons
Falling in love, getting married, and having a child are at the top of schoolteacher Mercy Meyer’s bucket list, but she can’t focus on love when she’s buried in debt, left behind by her cheating husband. Not that it matters because the only eligible bachelor isn't exactly family-man material. Rock star Alex Cruz is everything she doesn’t want … or is he?
Suddenly a full-time father when a little girl with his eyes and the smile of an angel appears in his life, rock star Alex Cruz realizes he’s in way over his head. When the only available help is Mercy Meyer, he learns the most valuable lessons of his life: never judge a book by its cover, actions speak louder than words, and there’s a big difference between a father and a dad.

Another fantastic collection of stories that make me happy to just spend a while being a part of the authors make believe world.
From sweet to sexy, nice men, to bad boys becoming nice I love all the books.
A great collection that I thoroughly recommend.
One Hundred Decisions
A big commitment
Another heartwarming story from Aspen Cove that I loved.
Natalie’s life has been hard, growing up in the foster care system has taught her to only rely on herself.
With a heart of gold she takes on the responsibility of her brother, a 12yo teenage boy she doesn’t know, so that he may have a better life than she had.
Jake being a recipient of Bee’s legacy receives a pink letter which brings him to the little town of Aspen Cove.
Trying to find someone to employ full time at the bookstore he has opened in Bee’s name, he gets to know Natalie and her brother Will.
Leaving at some stage to pursue his career they know that what they feel for each other, can only be temporary.
However a relationship blossoms and Natalie and Jake are not the only people involved.
They slowly have become a family and how will that effect Will when the time comes for Jake to leave?
Can they walk away from each other so easily?
Three new characters to Aspen Cove that add to the huge big family that I have loved reading about.
One Hundred Glances
A hard lesson to learn
A beautiful story of overcoming hard times and having faith in others to help you along the way.
Plus two people opening their hearts up to the possibility of love.
Being stranded in the little town of Aspen Cove by her Agent at the lowest point in her life, artist Sosie Grant is there to pack up her studio and move on.
Treated as one of Aspen Cove’s family, Sosie is taken under Doc’s wing and a place for her to stay is organised till she gets back on her feet.
She ends up moving in to the spare room and sharing the unit above the bakery with Baxter Black.
Baxter, put out at first teaches her that her life is no longer over and shows her she can do things other than painting.
Another gorgeous story with believable characters that I thoroughly enjoyed.
One Hundred Lessons
My most favourite Aspen Cove story so far
In my opinion, by far the best story in the whole collection of Aspen Cove novels.
Maybe because Mercy had appeared in a few stories beforehand and was never lucky enough to find her own match.
A teacher trying to work through a bucket list after an unfaithful husband and a terrible marriage.
Maybe also because I absolutely loved Alex.
Gorgeous drummer, harassed by his many female fans, his character was wary of all women as they were always throwing themselves at him.
Add to the mix a cute little 5yo named Maddie who had a hard life and was now all on her own.
Putting all three together made for a wonderful storyline that I did not want to end.
Amazingly believable characters and a beautiful story that I could read again and again.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 18, 2021Format: KindleI have read all the stories in this series and love the characters that are portrayed. Each book brings out an aspect that people struggle with and highlights ways in which to resolve their issues. After a while the characters in the novels start to feel like family, drawing one back into the fold. I highly recommend this boxset and any other books in the Aspen Cove series.
One Hundred Decisions
Aspen Cove, the town that is a gift that keeps on giving, welcomes Jake Powers and the bookstore that he opens in the small town. It also welcomes Natalie Keane, if only she would allow the townsfolk to give her the love she so desperately needs. I love Natalie's words to her recalcitrant brother, “Maybe we're looking at this from the wrong angle. I'm not the enemy, and you're not the problem.” If only we treated more problems that way! Jake is a hero in anyone's book but his past experiences have left him damaged. He is chasing his own goals and doesn't plan on staying in Aspen Cove. Just long enough to get the bookstore up and running.... and to help Natalie and Jake to find their way. Jake inadvertently finds himself becoming part of their nucleus and before he knows it, he is part of their small family. This novel is beautifully written, sad in a way but ultimately joyful as Natalie and Will find a home and discover the meaning of family.
One Hundred Glances
Her life as she knows it is over. Feeling sorry for herself is not helping, but neither is her agent's attitude, especially when she abandons Sosie in a diner in the town where no-one is a stranger and everyone is potentially family to be embraced and nurtured. With unerring accuracy, Doc tasks Baxter with the job of providing Sosie with a bed to sleep in until she can find her feet again. Sosie realises that she has no choice but to accept the hospitality thrust upon her, and makes the best of the situation. With his special brand of common sense, Baxter sets Sosie in a new direction, one that ultimately opens the way to healing and a new appreciation of life. However, he is just as affected by Sosie as she shares her love for colour and spatial awareness. Sosie's condition tugged at my heartstrings, as I know people who lost their sight as adults, and am aware of the struggles they had to go through as a blind person in a seeing world. I applauded her ability to use her senses as an artist to bring light and colour into the lives of others. Despite his brashness and focus on getting the job done, one cannot help but love Baxter and the way in which he rose to the occasion. Certainly, he is a man one would like to have on their team. This romance brings hope and joy to the reader and an appreciation of the everyday gifts we enjoy.
One Hundred Lessons
Tender, heart-warming, and romantic are just some of the adjectives to describe this book. Both Mercy and Alex have been residents of Aspen Cove for a while, but haven't as yet experienced its healing power. Alex is taking cover from the groupies that are the bane of his existence, whilst Mercy is hiding from the ignominy of her husband's death. On her beams end, she completes a little sticky note which she posts on the Wishing Wall of the bakery, saying "I need a job... any job." Alex is confronted by a woman who delivers a sweet, gap-toothed little girl to him, informing him that her mother is dead and he needs to take his child. Totally unprepared for child-rearing, Mercy's cry for help becomes his salvation. Trust is the underlying issue in all their lives, as Alex, Mercy, and even little Madison have to adjust and depend on one another. Mercy had no intention of falling for a drummer, and Alex has avoided relationships like the plague. However, as Maddie works her magic, she brings light, colour, and love into their lives. This charming Aspen Cove romance filled a spot in my heart as the characters discover love and healing in their relationship.
These books have humour, wit, and heartwarming romance that touch one at a deep level. They are so entertaining that I was sorry when the book came to an end. I received a copy of this boxset as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
