An Aspen Cove Collection: A Small Town Romance Books 7-9 (An Aspen Cove Romance Collection Book 3) Kindle Edition
One Hundred Lifetimes
Poppy Dawson wants what she can’t have—Mark Bancroft, Aspen Cove’s deputy sheriff. Growing up the daughter of a cattle rancher, she had no time for silly things like love. But after watching her terminally ill mother wither, Poppy realizes life is not only unpredictable, it’s short.
Abandoned by his no-good father at the age of eight, Mark Bancroft has spent over twenty years trying to redeem his family name. He’s a good, honest man who’s been in love with Poppy Dawson ever since he can remember. But when his father stole everything from the Dawsons and left town, he took Mark and Poppy’s future with him. Done carrying the burden of his father’s crimes, Mark sets out to win her heart, but first, he must win her father’s respect.
One Hundred Ways
After the death of her father, sculptor Riley Black leaves Butte, Montana, for Aspen Cove in search of the family she’s never known. Her welcome is less than warm when handsome firefighter Luke Mosier catches her violating fire safety codes.
Luke Mosier isn’t just dead sexy. He’s dead serious about keeping the people of Aspen Cove safe. He’s convinced Riley Black is an accident waiting to happen. Even so, under her welder’s mask, Riley is the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen. His iron jaw softens when he realizes she’s more than she first appears. Not only can she melt metal, but she melts his heart.
One Hundred Goodbyes
The word no isn’t in Eden Webster’s vocabulary. That’s how, at twenty-eight years old, she finds herself pregnant and alone in Aspen Cove. Abandoned by her sister Suzanne, the one person she should have been able to count on, she’s forced to accept the generosity of firefighter Thomas Cross, the man who literally picked her up when she was down.
After months of waiting for his baby to be born, firefighter Thomas Cross delivered the truth instead. The baby isn’t his. When Doc Parker asks him to put Eden up for a few months until her child comes, he’s determined to keep his distance. But the more time he spends with Eden, the more he realizes love is not something that can be overruled by logic.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 12, 2023I love the Aspen Cove series of books and this collection is a good selection of books. Kelly is great at building a world that makes the reader want to live there. While reading this book, I was totally immersed in the Aspen Cove world. The characters are relatable.

One Hundred Lifetimes
I have been waiting for Poppy and Mark's story as the attraction between them has been sizzling throughout this series. I have not been disappointed! As the oldest daughter in a family floundering from one disaster after another, Poppy has had to be the glue that held the household together. She discovers that the more she does to keep everyone happy, the more they expect from her, even to the detriment of her own future. Mark, on the other hand, is paying for the sins of his father and has to walk a fine line between his feelings for Poppy and the distrust of her father. Poppy finally realises that if she is to ever have her dreams come to fruition, she has to stand up for herself and take control of her future. This does not go down well, but when Mark finds a way to make himself useful to her family, she knows that she is no longer alone in her quest for happiness. This story is beautifully written with a strong but warm-hearted woman and a man who has the strength of character to overcome the obstacles in their way. I experienced a whole range of emotions as I read this novel, and found it difficult to put down once I started.
One Hundred Ways
In this romance, Luke is a strong hero but Riley is still trying to allow her true nature to come out. Despite Luke's initial censure, Riley surprises herself by standing up to him in what is an amusing introduction. Whilst Riley's aunt and cousin are delighted that she has joined them in the small town where everyone knows each other's business, there is a fly in the ointment that makes Riley question herself. It takes all of Luke's resources and understanding to teach Riley to love the person she is. With the help of longtime residents of the small town, Riley eventually recognises that if she wants to move forward, she has to make peace with her past. I enjoyed this well-written romance and the sense of comradery that one experiences among the characters.
One Hundred Goodbyes
Having a medical emergency in Aspen Cove is not the worst thing that could happen to a girl, especially if Doc Parker is treating her. Only Eden didn't know that at the time. Having firefighter Thomas Cross as her protector is no hardship either, except that he's sworn off women, relationships, and long-term commitments. However, Thomas quickly realises that Eden is nothing like his ex and as her story unravels, he finds himself reevaluating his standpoint, with the help of his friends, who care more for his well-being than he could have imagined. Sharing his home with Eden opens Thomas' eyes to the possibility of a new and exciting life until Eden's sister throws a spanner in the works. This novel is well written, emotive, and romantic without prolonged steamy bedroom scenes. The people of Aspen Cove step up to the plate once again, having all benefited from the precedent set by a generous old lady who loved the people of Aspen Cove even beyond the grave. The humour had me reading portions of the book out to my husband, although he did shudder at some of the descriptions that only a woman would find funny! This is a really enjoyable book and leaves one feeling hopeful.
This boxset is well written, with humour, deep emotions, and laugh-out-loud moments. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 18, 2021One Hundred Lifetimes - 4 Stars
This was my first story in this series and I enjoyed it. I did not feel like I missed anything by not having read the rest of the series but it may have added a richness to some of the secondary characters if I had.
I liked Mark and Poppy and was happy to see them finally fight for what they wanted.
One Hundred Ways - 4.5 Stars
This is the first Aspen Cove book I've read and I really enjoyed it. I was able to understand and follow everything. I really liked these characters and the journey they go through, especially Riley. Luke is exactly who she needed when she needed it.
One Hundred Goodbyes - 5 Stars
Oh my! What a great story! I could not put it down. Two broken people who meet completely by chance at just the right moment.
I received an Advance Reader Copy and am voluntarily leaving a review.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 23, 2023I absolutely loved all of these three stories in this Aspen Cove Collection, books 7 - 9 by Kelly Collins.
Each story has me more invested in the town and the people as they make appearances in most of the books.
Would highly recommend that you add Kelly Collins Aspen Cove books to your collection.
Book 7 - One Hundred Lifetimes
Is the timing finally right?
Poppy and Mark have loved each other for what seems like forever, but bitter family circumstances have made this young couple miserable and kept them apart.
This beautifully written story shows the power of a young couples love being so strong that even decades later it still exists. It is emotional at times and has some sexy scenes.
I loved it and would definitely recommend this series.
Book 8 - One Hundred Ways
Starting over
I really loved Riley and Luke’s story.
Riley has had a harsh life and she needed to make a fresh start after being thrown out by her stepmother.
Aunt Maisy comes to her rescue and tells her to come to Aspen Cove.
Fire chief Luke has been thwarting unwanted attempts by waitress Meg to the point that he’s uncomfortable about the situation.
In walks Riley and he only has eyes for her.
This story is all about their powerful attraction, misunderstandings, forgiveness, jealousy and nastiness causing harm.
Another lovely story in the Aspen Cove series which makes we want to keep listening / reading to find out who will be next to fall in love.
Book 9 - One Hundred Goodbyes
Finding love in the most unlikely circumstances
Eden, let down in the most cruel way by her sister. Having put her life on hold to give her an amazing gift she now needs to reevaluate her own life.
Broken, unsure what to do she heads to Canada and detours on the way to Aspen Cove.
Thomas, hurt and carrying baggage from a previous failed relationship is starting to feel lonely as most of his friends now have partners.
Meeting Eden as she is passing through the town he comes to her aid and then ends up becoming so much more in his life.
Navigating their shared existence together brings them so much closer and in the end Thomas and the town rally around Riley when she most needs it.
A really sweet story of finding love in the most unlikely circumstances.
I enjoyed the old characters from previous books making an appearance and loved the main characters.
As always looking forward to continuing listening / reading more Aspen Cove stories.
