A Hole in One: The Front Nine Kindle Edition

3.7 out of 5 stars 16 ratings

Never one to let a few wayward balls spoil a good walk, join us in a short stroll along the front nine at Fairweather Fields. Regardless of stiff shafts or loose grips, whether you drive deep or pull your stroke, prefer to play your wood in the rough or your iron in the bunker, with holes, poles and sweet spots abounding, there’s something for everyone who has ever thought that ‘playing a round’ is a euphemism for exactly that, ‘playing around!’

A Hole in One (The Front Nine) is a cheeky collection of nine short, sexy stories loosely based around the game of golf, and only suitable for adults due to its fabulously decadent content. Part of Jackie's Naughtier Side Collection.

I was born in Essex England during the mid sixties but I missed all the fun. Being only young I assumed that all Beatles were six legged creatures and Flower Power was something to do with the vigorous way my mother kneaded the bread dough.

My wonderful parents brought me up with a huge love of books. We read anything and everything. Bedtime stories were a treasured time of adventure and mystery. My sister and I sat wide eyed in wonder and to this day I worry about Dinah and Dorinda being pricked with pins because they grew so fat, and I never pull faces at the a waning moon (or was it a waxing one?) just in case my chops stay that way . (The Wind On The Moon)

I began reading romance while still at school. The fuel for many a teenage fantasy leapt from between the covers of wildly romantic books and my passion still lingers now for all those dashing, dark haired heroes.

My own beautiful daughter persuaded me to write my first romance. She enjoyed the resulting tale so much that she shared it with her friends and I eventually published A Perfect Summer as an ebook on amazon.

But I have discovered that this writing bug is not easily stopped. It has turned into a grand passion that I just cannot hold back. Ideas come flooding in the strangest of places. While driving the car, when choosing ripe avocados in the supermarket, even during sweaty sessions at the gym, far too many for just one book and so I began another and then another. Eight years and twenty-five books later I am still nowhere near done. Book 26 is on its way and only just the other night I woke from a wild and wonderful dream with yet another plot fully formed in my head.

I hope you enjoy all of my efforts and I look forward to your comments and reviews.

Oh wow, this was so hot! Each and every story/chapter. I think I need to take up golf. The first story set the tone, which let me know these were not going waste time, or words – they are just the good stuff! That was my kind of golf instructor in the opening chapter.

I loved that as the chapters switched, the tone and theme remained but we saw something different with different people. There was a story for all tastes and if you are like me, with varied tastes, you’ll love them all. In fact, I’d wager you’ll love them all. The first nine holes were so hot, I’ve got to see what happens on the last nine! Recommend for fans of super steamy romance.

When the weather's too cold to get out on the golf course, this saucy, romantic short story collection will entice you into a world of fantasy greens, sexy sand traps and roughs you'll definitely want to play through. Each breathtaking tale centers around a heart-pumping tryst that's sure to heat up the coldest night. I read A Hole in One: The Front Nine aloud to my husband--an avid golfer--and Jackie Williams' stimulating, seductive prose had his putter working overtime. This author has definitely hit a hole in one! I can't wait to see what happens on the back nine.

Nine stories, the first nine holes, woven in nine chapters in A Hole in One: The Front Nine. The author sure knows her game and her way around Fairweather Fields golf course, from lessons on the driving range to the back of a Rolls Royce, with this collection of nine witty, sexy, steamy stories. Can’t wait to see what Jackie Williams has in store for the next nine holes.

There's lots of playing being done both on and off the course at Fairweather Fields Golf Club. Jackie Williams has done a wonderful job of weaving together a collection of stories about the club members and those who serve them. A Hole in One is a thoroughly entertaining read filled with lots of hot scenes and plenty of happy endings.

These erotic stories were fun and very entertaining. I'm looking forward to the back nine. This never happened to me when playing golf but a girl can dream. Lol

A most amusing series of short stories about golf!!! This had me almost rolling around on the floor with laughter - WARNING - read on the Tube - (do you say SubWay in US?) at your peril - it's so funny folks will think you've lost the plot because you won't be able to stop giggling. This is a wonderful walk around the links in beautiful English countryside with a little more information & bounce about what golfers really get up to.
Absolutely marvellous - and if you're not a golfer you'll still enjoy it because you'll see golfers in a different light, without certain items of apparel and more balls than you could possibly think of, and what you hear at the 19th hole will make your mind boggle. Double entendre & word play are wonderfully constructed to keep you tickled pink. This is the right reading matter if you need a bit of a lift and some serious silliness to counteract real life - might even persuade you to join a golf club!
And I do hope there is going to be another Ms Williams - I need to finish that round...

I've never been much of a golfer but didn't know what I was missing until I teed off with "Hole in One" by Jackie Williams. The sexy shenanigans that go on around the greens and fairways of the United Kingdom made me what to pull out my club and improve my stroke. The Front Nine was loads of fun. If you've dreamed of naughty afternoons on the links, you'll love this collection of short stories.

I still know nothing about the game, but God did I just read a great book filled with extremely steamy stories. I even laughed as I read at some. This was a fun filled read for sure!
I am looking forward to the next book, The Back Nine.
