A Knot with Santa (Houston Hub Shorts) Kindle Edition
Mikey
It's just a slumber party. I might not know anyone here, but if I ever want to know what it's like to have a Daddy, I've got to go inside. It doesn't matter who decides to take me for the night, I just want to know what its like to have a Daddy when I'm little, even if that Daddy turns out to be the hottest Santa I've ever seen.A Knot with Santa is an MM paranormal romance short story featuring a side character from the original Diviner's Game trilogy and the demigod who thinks he's special. Featuring a Daddy/Little relationship and all the fun that goes with that.

- Reviewed in the United States on February 22, 2025Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI think this might be the cutest book Jennifer Cody has written so far. I love Jennifer Cody's books. Especially the ones that coincide within this universe. I guess I could say that I love this universe. But I really do end up loving everything she writes. I probably should have read and reviewed this book ages ago but honestly I'm always caught up in rereading the first two series within this universe that it's just taking me forever to get through the mini stories. I apologize for the late review. But if you happen to not have read this book yet, go get it. It's cuteness overload. I can already see myself rereading it. Actually, right now!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 4, 2025Format: KindleVerified PurchaseOh boy! What a great story and surprise. All the things I didn’t know about Santa. I really loved this book.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 11, 2023Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThere are 2 things I will very strictly refrain from critiquing about this because it's completely my own fault for glossing over the blurb. First is that this is a Daddy/little boy story and second is that it takes place in an established universe that I have not read.
The main criticism outside of that is that you can't just jump in here with this story. It doesn't stand alone and you can sense the gaps and threads to other stories. Also, it's not at all winning me over to this kind of story. I don't know why so many author newsletters I subscribe to are recommending DDlb stories lately and I hate it, but I'm not kink shaming.
Now for the good things that make this an ok read in the end. The end is solid with hot actions and a fanciful imagery with the weaving of their fates. There is a quality to the writing that doesn't put me off this author despite this being the last book of their's that I should read and I made it my first because of some vague notion of doing some Christmas in July reading. I'll be interested in reading more, but I will carefully read the blurbs in future and maybe take a look inside before borrowing or buying.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 8, 2023Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThis was a fun journey back into the world of the Diviner's Game series. I love how this world melds the non-magical human aspects with the magical non-human. This book brings to light that the beings of Santa, Krampus and Jack Frost exist and are a found family of brothers. This short story involves Nick Klaas meeting his little Mickey at a holiday sleepover. It's short, sweet and swoon worthy. I love all the book in this world and this one just adds a bit more information into the overall Universe created an incredibly talented author.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 30, 2022Format: KindleA magical Christmas tale of Nick, who is the real Santa demigod...with a knot and Mikey, a "little" who needs a daddy. Has magical lullabies, immortality, and a magical HEA.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 14, 2022Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThis is a short scene about how Santa found his boy and became a Daddy.
He also has a knot.
Instalove, instadaddy, instadom, and basically fated mates.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 1, 2022Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThat was a first for me. Lol. Definitely different and opened my eyes to a whole new sub/Dom dynamic. It was tastefully done, cute, short story. Loved it.
