A Million Little Reasons Kindle Edition
Best friend.
Savior.
Protector.
The love I share with Blake is unwavering. He knows all my nervous ticks, bad habits, and pet peeves. Our inside jokes are endless and further prove we fit together perfectly.
But... our passion for each other is chaos.
My heart could list a million reasons why Blake and I should be together ... never would it have anything to do with trust or honesty. Or, how a simple touch from him is anything but.
He owns my heart and always will. For now, that isn’t enough. But we both have dreams. We need to grow up and experience life.
Then, and only then, can we truly be right for each other. In time, what’s meant to be will be. Still, how long is too long to wait for a chance at happiness?

- Reviewed in the United States on July 25, 2016I jumped into reading this one without really knowing what it was about and boy was it good. Wow, it hooked me from the beginning. We start in the past and work our way to the present. I really like that and I thought it was well written. Charlotte and Blake meet when they are teenagers. There is an attraction there but also a great friendship. This isn't a love story where they love in love at teens and everything works out right away. There are a lot of misses in this one and wrong timings. There is a strong bond and love between them. At points I was like "oh no please don't let that happen" and I was shocked at other parts. There were a couple times where I was completely surprised by what happened. Charlotte and Blake's characters sucked me into their world and I just didn't want to put it down. It's an emotional read that will definitely pull at your heart strings.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 23, 2020This a great second chance story. It is kind of like reading Charlotte’s diary. This story is full of raw emotion that gets you when you least expect it. It would have been nice to have Blake’s perspective on the story as well and there were some loose strings left to tie. Besides that, I really enjoyed reading this story. I liked seeing how they met and how they grew up, dated, broke up, and came back for each other. They were both very young when they discovered love and that came crashing down upon them. They both made mistakes and had problems but were able to overcome anything with each other’s help.
I wrote this voluntary review in exchange for an ARC copy.

The growth in Charlotte I was truly amazed just how far this girl had came & Blake came in and out but will she give him a 2nd chance?

- Reviewed in the United States on April 30, 2020This book was very well written, the storyline was good, and I loved the MCs. And then I got to the end. The ending of this book completely cancelled out everything else that I'd read before that point. Maybe if I had read this before now when I'm just depressed anyway because of everything that is going on in the world it wouldn't have mattered as much, but right now I needed a happy ending.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 20, 2020This book has everything from love to hate and every emotion in between. A great story that will have you pulling for the characters and leave you heartbroken! I only wish the story would have gone on a bit more, not leaving us hanging, but this book is perfect for, and left me hoping for a second book.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 20, 2017This was an excellent book, but I wasn't a huge fan of the ending. I loved Charlotte and Blake, they were both awesome characters that I think many people can relate to. I loved following their story as they navigated the challenges of adulthood. This book was a reminder that in life there isn't always a happily ever after. I give it five stars, very well written, and an extremely emotional read.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 18, 2017Charlotte and Blake meet when Charlotte moves into the house next door as a foster child. Not believing her luck with how nice her new foster parents are, after suffering at some others, Charlotte is happy.
Meeting her neighbour Blake, they quickly become close, sad to say goodbye to Blake when he goes to college after they have become so close and the fun they had over the summer, it’s only then that Charlotte realises she loves Blake.
With time moving on the two try to stay in touch, after visiting Blake and him kissing her Charlotte is left confused with what is going on, even more when Blake returns home with his girlfriend.
The two continue to find each other again although the timing doesn’t work out – both moving on with careers and Charlotte becoming engaged. Charlotte realises that she’s not happy and not going to marry her fiancé, when Blake calls on her wedding day to let her know he won’t be able to make it as he dad died, the decision to leave her wedding is an easy one for Charlotte.
When Charlotte is betrayed by her friend and fiancé, she decides that she needs some alone time and tells Scott and Alice not to let anyone know where she is. After working through everything, Blake eventually tells Charlotte that he doesn’t want her to jump through puddles alone anymore and wants to be her forever. The ending was certainly one I didn’t see coming.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely story!!!
This is the first book I've read by Rachael Brownell and it's absolutely lovely.
I thought I'd have a quick read and was hooked until I finished the book.
Beautifully written, the story flows from the meeting of Charlotte and Blake, through their highs and lows as friends, to their will it/won't it happen moments, and there are many of them.
I laughed with them and felt sad for them and celebrated with them too.
Lovely story!
