    Gunny is having a hard time. Doesn’t know where he’s going. Not just right now but in life. Lindsey is starting her life over in a new city. She’s got a lot to move past but so does he. This book was everything I needed for Gunny. I was captivated by Gunny since he was first introduced to us. After the ending of the first book in the series, I HAD to know how he got his HEA. Josie did not disappoint. The path they walk can be a windy one but it’s all worth it. Loved this book and like always, I’m impatiently waiting for the next.

    I'm loving this author and this series. I've recently begun reading Josie Kerr and I'm impressed. This group of guys and women in Georgia will make you happy. There's a little comedy, a little suspense and a lot of love. Gunny and Lindsay both have pasts that haunt them but, together, they find light. I can't wait for Cash and his second chance story out in December. This series is just beginning so get on board. The premise is retired military guys opening a construction business. But they build lives and loves and solve problems along the way.

    Ben and Lindsey met in a bar and had a beautiful three nights together when she slipped away. He imagined her in his head and all of the what ifs. What he didn't expect was for her to be the little sister of one of his teammates from the Marines. Lindsey is trying to piece her life back together after being falsely accused of theft. In the end she is reacquainted with Ben who knew from the start that she was the missing part of his life. Will they be able to have their happily ever after given all the turmoil both have endured not to mention all the dram that keeps cropping up around them.

    This is my first book of the series. I definitely felt like I was missing out on a lot of major background things.

    But, regardless of those things, the standalone story was very enjoyable. Action and romance. The building of relationships and family. Many twists and turns and surprises.

    Has adult scenes.

    They had something rare together. It was proven when he finally made it to town. Her brother didn't kill him right away. Good sign that you have passed the test. She actually calmed him down when needed. He needed someone that could deal with all of his issues and their own. She clearly fit that description.

    Josie has quickly became one of my favorite authors and A Moment in Time is the perfect reminder of why.

    I LOVE Gunny and Lindsay. They're complex characters who - when they fall, fall hard.

    I didn't want this story to end, and cannot wait for the next one!
