Aleatha Romig is a New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author who lives in Indiana, USA. She grew up in Mishawaka, graduated from Indiana University, and is currently living south of Indianapolis as well as part of the year in Bradenton, Florida, USA. Before she became a full-time author, she worked days as a dental hygienist and spent her nights writing. I have been a HUGE fan of ALEATHA ROMIG's for a while now so it's no surprise that I absolutely loved this book but what did surprise me was the ending, no not that it was a cliffhanger because I call her the QUEEN OF CLIFFHANGERS but just what happened at the end!There is so much going on in this book, lies, secrecy, deception, and so many twists and turns that lead us up to the bombshell that was dropped at the ending. I have to say that I loved Lucille the American born woman who is now the Princess of Molave, her husband Roman leaves a lot to be desired, but Sir Oliver fits his role perfectly and I love the chemistry and slow burn between him and the princess.I know cheating is a big thing for many readers and yes there is cheating in this book, BUT and this is a big BUT I do not see this as cheating because the marriage between the princess and the prince was not only abusive there are other things in play that make this a non sequitur. That may not make sense now but it will once you read the story.I would recommend this book to fans of Aleatha Romig, those that enjoy Romantic Suspense, or those that enjoy Royalty Romances.Happy Reading!!!

    This is the first book I have read by this author and I loved it.
    I'm fairly new to reading royal romance novels.
    I have read a couple and enjoyed them. I wanted to read a new one so I was excited to read this book.
    This is the first book of this series.
    The storyline was so interesting. I loved reading about the royal life. It was fast paced. So many twists. I just couldn't put it down I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next.
    I'm so nervous about what is going to happen in the second book.
    This is a fascinating book and I definitely recommend it.

Oliver/Roman is a talented actor and is trying to find the answers. I love the connection between Oliver and Lucille. There is this air of mystery that surrounds Roman and I'm here for it. I was sucked in from the very start. I cannot wait for all those answers to come in this series. I love Oliver and Lucille so much. If you haven't had the chance to pick this up yet do it now.

    This story revolves around the leaders of a small country near Norway and the troubles between the Crown Prince and his wife who is an American. Due to unstated reasons the Prime Minister hires an actor to impersonate the Prince and few are aware. The Prince is a nasty abusive character and his replacement isn't although he's trying!
    We all read the gossip about the British Royal family but this family makes Prince William and Prince Harry look like perfect angels with absolutely no dysfunction! My goodness, even the private rooms are bugged and searched.
    I won't give away the unbelievable cliffhanger but just say its made me want to know WTH is going on...

    This book fully captivated me from the first page. This is such a unique story and it's turning out so much better than I could've imagined.

    We learn about princess Lucille's life, her mercurial husband, prince Roman. And we meet Oliver and learn why he's brought in. As the story moves along we learn more, and question more. I love the chemistry and pull between Lucille and Oliver, and the mystery/ suspense elements kept me turning pages late into the night. I can't wait to see where book two takes us.
