About the author

During her late teens, multi published romance writer Tricia Jones discovered three passions: her husband, yoga and reading romance novels. Since then she has added writing romance novels to the list.
After graduating with an MA in education, she worked as an adult education co-ordinator, until deciding to concentrate full-time on her writing career. Her contemporary romance novels feature tough heroes and equally strong women. The settings for her stories are based on real places and Tricia loves to indulge her love of travel by checking out those places first hand, especially if they happen to be in France or Italy.
A dedicated yoga practitioner and qualified teacher, Tricia finds that yoga provides a perfect antidote to the demands of writing. Her non-fiction book, Yoga for Writers – Simple Stretches for the Desk-Bound is now available. She holds the British Wheel of Yoga Teaching Certificate.
Tricia lives in the UK with her husband and a very spoiled princess with four paws.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 6, 2009With her parents away on the vacation of a life time, Thia Conway is astonished to find out that the flower shop she runs for her parents needs repairs that she can't finance. Repairs that should be claimed on insurance but her mom let the insurance lapse. Instead of calling and worrying her parents, Thia tries to get a bank to loan her the money for the repairs. Disconcerted and discouraged after being turned down over and over, Thia is unsure about the arrangement Finn Montgomery is proposing to her. She at first refuses him but when she is turned down by the final bank, Thia has no other choice. She and Finn are married days later.
Finn Montgomery is adamant that he needs to marry in order to solidify his claim of guardianship over his nephew. When he finds out that Thia is having money difficulties with her florist shop, he proceeds to tell her about his plan and the part he wants her to play in it. At first unwilling to even consider such a coldhearted way to marry, Thia finally breaks down and accepts Finn's proposal.
Neither Finn nor Thia gets what they expect out of their marriage. Each character explores the other and in turn that information changes the way they feel about each other. While neither promised the other love, that is exactly what they got.
I engulf arranged marriage storylines like chocolate. I love the plot and premise of each and every one. I love reading about the different ways two people can fall in love and A TEMPORARY ARRANGEMENT caught my interest immediately.
Finn Montgomery carried guilt of his sister's death and refused to allow anything to come and take away his beloved nephew. While Finn had a hard time showing how much he loved his nephew, it was readily apparent in every touch of his hand on Ronnie's head and every word he spoke. I found Finn's loyalty noteworthy and totally sexy. I just wish he had had more gumption to find a different wife.
As much as I loved Finn, I was not fond of Thia. She was written in such a way that she came across more than once as being a shrew. She nagged, she griped, and she basically drove me nuts with the demands she put on Finn immediately after becoming his wife. I wanted to divorce her, I mean, I wanted Finn to divorce her and find a NICE woman to marry because Thia's character was not nice. She did, however, show love for Ronnie and that is the only reason I continued to read A TEMPORARY ARRANGEMENT.
Releasing from The Wild Rose Press in September, lovers of arranged marriages will be hard pressed to keep from buying this book. Although I didn't like Thia, I did enjoy reading A TEMPORARY ARRANGEMENT and know others will as well. It was just not the book for me at this period of time.

- Reviewed in the United States on November 20, 2008Thia Conway needed cash and Finn Montgomery needed a no strings attached wife.
Taking care of her parents flower shop while they are away Thia finds that her mother accidently let the insurance lapse and there isn't any income to take care of the many repairs the shop needs. Being turned down for bank loans Thia takes the only option available to her, marry Finn Montgomery.
Finn, is very financially sound but he's afraid money may not stop him from losing what he cares about the most, his nephew. Finn believes he needs a stable home that consists of a wife and mother to make his guardianship of his nephew ironclad. Expecting the arraignment to be in name only, neither Thia nor Finn expected to want their temporary family to become permanent, but when it comes to love always expect the unexpected.
A Temporary Arrangement is enjoyable, although it has the typical plot line of the rich arrogant hero whom I liked despite of his stubborn pig headedness, and the tough but somewhat caring heroine. Thia had her faults, I felt she could have been more of a compassionate person but I still liked her. Although I found some parts of A Temporary Arrangement to be frustrating, the overall story and plot was very well done. I always find arraigned marriages and marriage of convenience stories to be very entertaining, and A Temporary Arrangement is most definitely entertaining.
