He’s got a beard I want rubbed all over my body even if he is a Grinch. When we meet, I swear I hear carolers singing, but something makes him go colder than the North Pole.

Maybe he’s not a reason to stay. Maybe he’s a reason to keep traveling.

When I meet Rowan Peters, I can feel a little bit of holiday cheer filter in for the first time in years. She’s a Christmas miracle if I’ve ever seen one, all sinful curves I want to lean into.     I don't think the characters were very well fleshed out. I did like the mix up of the bike being for her brother. But then it was resolved so fast with still almost half the book left to read. The rest of the story just lost my interest. Even him coming clean about his past seemed anti-climatic. The author just lost me.

    Levi's grumpiness was definitely endearing even when I wanted to yell, just ask her. Rowan has spent the last few years traveling around trying to find her place. Or maybe it was more like running from her loneliness. The attraction between them flares quick and bright but dims quickly through misunderstanding. I'm so glad that the folks from Banks Ink talk some sense into him. Seeing them grow close and fall deeper and deeper in love made my heart soar. 5 stars for Levi and Rowan!
