Viscount Edmund Wollaston has promised to care for his brother’s children for a short while but did not realize just how much they would disrupt his carefully ordered life. Rose has read her way through countless romances over the years, “borrowing” them from her older sisters, and hiding them from her mother (Mom didn't like the sexy book covers!)

She has a special love for Regency romances and when she began writing, the Regency period was a natural place to start. The ton, the wealthy families, the Season, the dilemmas, and yes, the marriages, have always fascinated her. She loves a happy ever after! Now she is happy to bring this passion to her stories and share it with her readers.

On a personal note, Rose lives in North Carolina, is married, and has a terrier that barks too much. She enjoys taking him for walks to tire him out!

    4.5 STARS

Sweet story with no villain to cause problems. You may think that it would be boring, but it wasn't.

There is a mystery and the H discovers he didn't know his brother very well. I enjoyed the element of surprise when a clue is discovered and not everything is as it seems.

I certainly didn't care for the H at the beginning. He was arrogant and thought the h beneath him. The h is strong, caring and through no fault of her own, she is forced to work for a living. She stands up to the H more than once and I loved her spunk.

One of my favorite character's is the H's best friend. Oh, I want him to get his HEA too.

This is a clean story with only a few kisses at the end. I can't believe the H's brother would leave his twins for a year or more. Why not take them when they went to the Continent, it's not like they were babies.

No cheating, no cliffhanger but does end somewhat abruptly at the 88% mark on my e-reader. Rest blurb of another book. We do get HEA and it's clean.

I can't improve on the blurb, just giving you some tidbits to decide whether to purchase or not. I liked it even though a simple story. The transformation of the H was worth the read and how his love developed for his niece/nephew. Thanks to the h and the best friend. (ljb)

I liked the story in this book, but the ending of the book was lacking. It did not have a complete ending, and it did not show how the story really finished. It should have had an extended epilogue.

A beautiful story of a viscount's daughter forced into being a governess and a young man forced into being a viscount. She manages to remain optimistic and loving while the viscount is set in his own ways. It is interesting to see them interact as he houses his young niece and nephew and she cares for the children and their uncle. Loved the happy ending.

This was a simple plot that had children as the focus. I liked it as a simple romance but I felt that the writer could have put an epilogue at the end to give us an update on their lives. It would have been a nice touch.

A sweet read that has no bad guy just relatives that leave much to be desired. It is a little different with wagers between the Governess and the Viscount.

Good read and very clean look in romance. but would have like to have a little more romance. Their both like characters with alot going for themselves. Edmund has always lead a solitary life with structure. Tabitha is the governess for his brothers children while he is away on the continent. The children and Tabitha changes his life for the better and they get their HEA. 🙂

I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Tabitha, the heroine, is a sweet and believable character, and the two children are a joy. There is an interesting sub plot which draws the protagonists together, and some enjoyable touches of humour. Would definitely recommend if a distraction from modern life is required.

3.0 out of 5 stars Quite nice but ended very abruptly.

This was a nice story but after a while it seemed to go off down a side road and then go round in circles. I felt there were various loose ends which didn't get resolved.
