The Accidental Everything (Nerds Who Knot Book 1) Kindle Edition

4.3 out of 5 stars 823 ratings

Some omegas go to clubs to pick up alphas. Isaac Evans cruises at his poetry readings.

He doesn’t mean to sleep with Rhett Donovan of the Donovan Poetry Fellowship—the prestigious grant he dreamed of receiving before he messed around with the alpha who awards it. And when Rhett gives him a unique career opportunity, Isaac doesn’t mean to fall in love. If anyone found out about his relationship with Rhett, it could mean a career-ending scandal for them both.

He doesn’t mean to get pregnant either. His life is full of accidents.

After Isaac’s made every possible mistake, he has nothing but his poetry to keep him afloat. But in the game of love, poetry might be enough.

The Accidental Everything
is a nonshifter romance set in the omegaverse with MPreg, knotting, and shameless poetry nerds. This edition includes four bonus short stories about Isaac and Rhett after their happily ever after.

I really enjoyed reading this book.
Although I like poetry, the story started off a bit boring. I felt I wasn’t going to like this book, and I debated whether to stop reading it.
But I kept on reading, and very quickly I was really invested in the story.
Note that there is quite a bit of graphic intimate scenes.

This is a good story of how, when you find the right person, you can face anything. Isaac is full of sass, fire and knowledge of who he is as an omega. Rhett is a strong alpha that happens to have a horrible family. When they meet and get together sparks and scandal abound. Will these two be able to stay together when everyone and everything is against them? Get the book and find out. You will get a bonus epilogue or three that gives you a glimpse at the pair as they live their lives post scandal.

I love this story about overcoming difficult times and staying true to yourself. Amy does a great job fitting a lot into such a short book. I like that Rhett was so solid and supportive and never gave up on Isaac, but rather lifted him and his accomplishments up. This is perfect if you’re looking for a quick listen, maybe while you’re doing chores or out on a walk.

I am not a big fan of poetry. Maybe it was the agony of high school English. Okay, probably. Definitely. My point is, poetry is mostly mentioned, occasionally quoted, but never force fed.

I won't elaborate on the synopsis, since if you're reading the reviews you've already read that.

This is a wonderful and heartwarming story, well-written and well-edited. I enjoyed the humor and the minimal angst. The sex is steamy and integral to the plot, but there isn't a whole lot of it. What there IS a lot of is heart. The omega, Isaac, is very well done and fully realized on the page. The alpha, Rhett, less so, but more than a caricature. Secondary characters are outstanding, a few choice lines and they jump off the page, which is why I'm a tad cranky about Rhett.

This is a quick and fun read. Give it a shot. Personally, I'm off to the bookmobile for the next book in the series. Can't wait.

BTW, I got this on KU.

I always love a book that loves words, and these characters LOVE words. There is abundant poetry in this courtship and it adds a lovely romantic light to the scorching heat between Isaac and Rhett. This is a really well done first book by this author, easy to read and the relationship is easy to root for. I like the world that is built here and will definitely be checking out the rest of the series as it releases. This one is a great sweet and steamy story for a lazy afternoon.

A wonderful and adorable lovestory of a sexy omega poet who accidentally stumbles onto love with a rich Alpha who is willing to give him anything. Isaac Evans and Rhett Donovan are the main characters and I fell in love with them. They are funny, adorably sweet and cute and also hot and sexy together.

The story was entertaining and I do not think I have read a lot about Poet youtubers, so that was a fun thing to read about. If they were real life youtubers I would be subscribed to them right now and anxiously awaiting another video and shipping their love! I think I am going to keep this little gem of a book on my list of sweet re- reads. The books that make me smile so hard and gush that I pull them our to read and bring me out of a funk. Yes, it was her cute in my opinion.

I love that it is part of a series because I want more books from this author. Definitely satisfying and recommended by me.

I received an advanced reader's copy of the book and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review and recommendation.

So so good. This is another book that I've had on my list forever. I wanted something short that I could finish before bed and this was perfect. I totally fell in love with Rhett and Isaac. The fact that it's MPreg/omegaverse made it even better. I love that Rhett and Isaac aren't perfect. They make mistakes and do dumb things but they find their way together. Parts of this book made me so angry but since things worked out in the end, I can't be that upset about it.

I really enjoyed reading about Isaac's poetry and his YouTube career. It was refreshingly different.

Isaac and Rhett are such an unlikely pairing, but at least they have poetry in common.

Very easy to read, mpreg, omega/alpha. If you like that genre, then you need to read this book.

It’s not only a great story and a very good romantic inegáveis book, but also an amazing plot about society and it’s misplaced values.

It could navigate from OV to our regular society without missing a single beat.

It brings values such as sexual freedom, self loathing and self value. It brings parental issues, family preconceived status and loneliness. Even cyber bullying is very well placed in this book.

It was an unexpected gem for me and I would definitely recommend if OV and mpreg are on your interest.

When an impetuous omega meets a warmhearted alpha (in a not-shifter world) poetry arises and not even the dirt invading social media can blemish or stop the love that conquers all 😉
A charming "Cinderella" story that doesn't hide the angst and ugliness real life may include, but deals with it decidedly.
    Nicely writen, worth your time.
