Against The Machine (Bill Blake Book 2) Kindle Edition
Paris, France. Blake is still on the run, surfacing at the city’s famous Gare du Nord train station. After what looks like an attempted mugging, he soon finds himself drawn into the vicious, dark underbelly of the city and a race against time to rescue a kidnapped woman. He promises her sister he’ll get her back, but when he learns that he is confronting an international people trafficking operation that leads to some of the most powerful people in Europe, he realises he has some serious work to do.
For fans of Lee Child’s Jack Reacher, Vince Flynn’s Mitch Rapp and Robert Ludlum’s Jason Bourne.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 5, 2022The 2nd Bill Blake story and so very exciting. It is again the type of story you just can't put down until you find out how it is going to end. What also keeps you on edge is the backstory that keeps raising its head and putting extra pressure on every situation. Definitely worth reading, but allow some extra time because you may not want to put it down til it is finished.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 10, 2022Great read with very detailed adventure which exceeds the first one. Can see where this series is going and cannot wait till next one. Another great series!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Good second installment
There has been quite a gap since the first book so it was hard to remember much. This one though was a really good read and could easily stand alone. It moved at a decent pace, didn't over complicate things and flowed well. I look forward to the next installment

3.0 out of 5 stars Mixed bag
Pretty good, rattled along at a fair pace. Couldn't come to terms with the femail character. Her sister is kidnapped and she seems to spend most of the book whinging about hurting the poor kidnappers. I get we need balance and moral balance but we also need reality. Your sister is being sold into slavery you arent really stressing about the deaths of the poor kidnappers. Unless you are Mother Theresa.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bill Blake has a very particular set of skills.
Enjoyable second outing for this new character and series which gives a welcome change from the Joe Hawke series where we are so familiar with the characters. Though the excitement and action are on par with its predecessors.
Couldn't help but picture Liam Neeson playing Bill Blake in this one.
