Second Chance: A sizzling, billionaire romantic comedy about second chances (The Agency Book 3) Kindle Edition

4.2 out of 5 stars 581 ratings

Freja Larsen is at the top of her game: she’s an award-winning TV ad producer, she’s a senior creative in London’s hottest advertising agency, and she’s the life and soul of every party. She's far too busy with her fantastic career and fabulous friends to dwell on the fact that, eight years ago, she let the love of her life go to protect him from a devastating truth. Nate Klein is now a millionaire businessman and TV star, not that Freja’s keeping track. He’s also Tribe’s newest and biggest client. And, Freja can’t help but notice, he’s still as heart-meltingly gorgeous as ever ... But Nate believed the lie that tore Freja away from him all those years ago. As Freja is forced to confront the consequences of her silence, she can’t help but wonder what could have been if she’d only dared to fight for the man she loved. Is now, after all this time, the moment to find her voice? The Agency series is based in London and set in the exciting world of advertising. Following the intertwined lives of a group of kickass career women, the series is a heartwarming mix of angsty romance and laugh-out-loud humour. Each book is numbered chronologically in the series, but every title is a complete story in its own right. FRIENDLY NOTE: All of Elizabeth’s books feature realistic characters who do things real people do (like have sex) and say things real people say (like drop f-bombs).

Loved the characters, all of them, but Freja stole my heart. Being on the wrong in of men in power took its toll on her life, but in a phenomenal ending, she brings strength to this true to life battle. A must read for the good and the hard parts that make this more than fluff!

"Second Chance" is head and shoulders above the typical Amazon freebie, which is where I get most of my novels. I love Freja! The plot is complex and plausible, and the HEA is especially satisfying. I am certainly going to seek out other Elizabeth Grey novels, and I suggest you do too.

I wanted to like this book but for some reason, the storyline and characters didn’t work for me. Not sure if I should’ve read the other books in the series first?

First I'll write about the things I liked about the book:
    +The London setting
    +Character Diversities
    +Different nationalities
    +Main character

I should also mention the things I didn't like:
-There were a bunch of long dialogues that served no purpose
-There wasn't any depth from the Male Lead
-I was hoping to read from the male's lead pov in some parts of the story.
-The decision to do nothing in certain topics

Overall it was fun and entertaining and free on Amazon!

These stories are well written and there are so many great characters in this series. I love that Violet and Ethan’s story continues in the background. I highly recommend all of the book in the agency series.

Another amazing book from Elizabeth. The characters become more like friends the more you read this series. They are so alive I defy anyone not to be able to associate them with real life people you all know and love. There’s a little bit of all of them In all of us.

This book took me a lot of time to get into the story, maybe because it is book 3? Probably half way through I started to like the book and want to read it and see what happened, any way it was a happy ending to this book.

I’ve been avoiding self pubbed books of late after a couple of shockers but this had a great front cover, great blurb and it sounded to my taste. The quality of the writing is excellent and the pace fast (almost a bit too fast) but the number of characters and the muddled start, which was all over the place, meant I couldn’t get past the first chapter. A real shame as it had potential. A good editor might have sorted it out. I might have another go later.
