- Reviewed in the United States on November 17, 2021I’d suggest getting rid of the continual saboteurs. They’re growing old fast. Their military does have excellent Intelligence & Security.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 12, 2016While this eighth book in the Battleship Alamo series is not quite as action filled as previous novels, it did keep me on the edge of my seat particularly at the end when they were rescuing the Espatiers from Cabal custody. As always Tongue's excellant writing keeps readers fully engaged in the story-line and the characters. The book does end in a cliff-reader that shouldn't bother readers as this book was written a couple of years or so ago - so no having to wait for the next in series. Looking forward to continuing my journey in playing catch-up to where the series is currently with book 21 which has just been released :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Finally going home?
After such a long Odysee I was hoping our heroes would get a well deserved breather here, but it seems, cruel Mr. Tongue has other ideas. It's high time though. Let them get home in the next installment and start off from there.
Readers beware: This is part 8 of the series, don't bother reading unless you've read the books before this one.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Saga Gets Better!
One or two typos don't spoil a fast moving storyline with great drama and well described excitement. Some of the scenarios would have benefited from more description which would have heightened the reader's enjoyment. Looking forward to the next instalment -
