Will they overcome their differences to find love?

- Reviewed in the United States on August 21, 2016This is a good series. In Tiger Time Ty is the alpha of the Alaskan Tigers He waits for Tabitha to mature before approaching her about her heritage. She was left in the dark by her family and is in for a surprise. This story introduces you to most of the characters in the series. It is a nice intro to the series. In The Tiger's Heart Raja is the Lieutenant of the Alaskan Tigers and protects Ty and the rest of the pack. Bethany is kidnapped by a rogue tiger on her vacation to Alaska and is rescued by Raja. They have an intriguing story. In Tigress For Two Kallie just wants to be left alone after a horrific past. She is in for a surprise when a bear shifter awakens feelings she thought she had suppressed long ago. Then Tabor's twin shows up. ... In Night With A Tiger Robin is rescued by Adam, who is the head guard for Tabitha. Robin was in a abusive marriage before having to flee for her live by the men who murdered her husband. She is unsure of her future with the Tigers and Adam until a unique situation occurred. In Trusting A Tiger Harmony is rescued by the Alaskan Tigers after becoming ensnared in a bear trap. She refuses to shift back to her human form, not knowing who she can trust. Felix and Harmony are mates, but she doesn't want to join the Alaskan Tigers because of her past. This causes turmoil within the pack. I felt for Harmony but thought her character somewhat trying for a while in the story. This was a good story and worth reading. I am waiting for the 2nd box set to come out!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 31, 2018The Alaskan Tigers set truly surprised me. I thought the background story was intriguing and it made for an interesting twist for each story. It is always enjoyable to read about a shifter finding his or her mate and the writer found an exciting way to blend each story into the one that followed. There is a real sense of community in each book and that just made me enjoy the set even more. She didn't why away from gore and action but still included the love scenes . I will definitely look for more from this writer.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 26, 2025I enjoyed this boxed set. I had started with a short Christmas story and wanted more. This did not disappoint. All the mated pairs had issues to overcome of course but even when similar (warning abuse & torture) they each handled things differently. The author weaves in the new characters effortlessly and all have been interesting stories. I skip over the sex scenes looking for any dialogue that moves story forward (repetitive especially in reading a set) but mated pair premise well thought out. The violence and attitudes well thought out and unlike many writers realistic in that you are talking about tigers/animals and that would effect “human” part as well. So will read more about the Alaskan Tigers. Spoiler alert
Must add that Harmony’s character was anything but however so well done I was completely involved!
- Reviewed in the United States on April 18, 2018I really enjoyed these books. They are short, quick reds with lots of action. It is a wonderful introduction to the clan and the working of the tigers.
Looking forward to the next ones.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 6, 2017This is a great start to this series. I have already purchased the next set. Unfortunately this series must be read in order and you will have to read all to get the conclusion. Each book by itself does come to a conclusion with the mates but the story continues in the next book.

Books are not stand alone. The over all story is advanced through each couples story and need to be read in order.
TIGER TIME ***
Tabitha grew up in foster care. At 19 she and her best friend live across from each other and struggle to make ends meet. Tabitha finds a letter on her door from a man who claims to have know her father.

Good story. Ty is a typical alpha. Tabby, is a mix of tough and vulnerable. She quickly adapts to her new reality. She is a bit stubborn and is no pushover.
Interesting world building. Fast paced and steamy. Story ends on a cliffhanger.
THE TIGERS HEART ****
Ty receives a message from an unknown, but suspect he is working with Pierce. He is threatening a human woman's life with torture and death, will exchange her for Tabby.
Raja has a strong reaction to the women in th video. He insists he needs to be the one to rescue her. Once her has her he knows why. She is his mate.
Bethany is seriously injured. Rescued and wakes up not in a hospital like she suspected. The man who saved her is by her side. She just wants to go home.
Raja is encouraged to tell Bethany who and what he is and what she is to him. Just as Bethany is trying to wrap her head around her new reality her family is targeted. Pierce lays blame with her uncle. He calls his sister a traitor for helping Ty.
The hunt for Pierce continues. Tabby's family book revealed new information. New allies join in the fight. Fast paced and steamy.
Ends in a cliffhanger
TIGRESS FOR TWO ****
Kallie's father arranged a mating for her and her mate sold her to a man with ties to the Russian mafia to clear a debt. After years of abuse she escaped and found sanctuary with the Alaskan tiger clan. Works in command central.

Loved the Brown family, looking forward to the other brothers finding their mates. Loved Tabor, Kallie and Thorben's story. MFM romance, ends in a cliffhanger.
NIGHT WITH A TIGER ****
Adam Merks is second and partner to Felix in Tabby's guard. He has been sent to find Robin Zimmer a human to according to Tabby's book can help them find Pierce.
Robin has been on the run for months. Her abusive husband murdered by Pierce but not before offering her in exchange for his life. She has just been found by Adam who is offering her protection with his clan. Robin is scared and reluctant to put her life in his hands. An ambush on their escape relieves they are mates. Taking an injured young guard from the Texas clan revels that the Texas pack will need to be dealt with.
Robin finds her place in the clan, and becomes the unofficial councilor to abuse shifters.
Finally Pierce has been dealt with. The Ohio Alpha has abandoned his clan and has taken over Pierce's rogues. Ends with a cliff hanger. Really liked Adam and Robin's story.
TRUSTING A TIGER ***
Felix is Tabby's head guard. Has learned that his older twin, who had been in medical care of the doctor with the Ohio pack, had been used to punish clan members. He finds his mate in one of Henry's victims.
Harmony had escaped from her old pack only to be seriously injured and rescued by the Alaskan clan. Her fear has her stuck in her tigress form. Robin helps her come back. Felix terrifies her. Then she finds he is her mate.
Felix has an up hill battle with his traumatized mate. He and the clan elders do what they can to make her comfortable. She only mates Felix due to her mating heat.
Henry is coming for her. Felix is going to have to put down his brother. He is torn between his duties and his mate. Harmony refuses to join the clan, clinging to Robin. Nothing seems to break through her terror at putting herself in the hands of another alpha. Her status has her excluded from the Elders meeting. She can not be trusted. Felix has to keep information classified as sensitive from her. She is unable to help Conner and Lucas for the same reason. Some hard facts from Robin and Tex give her something to think about.
Felix eliminates the threat of his brother and is devastated by it. Harmony puts her trust in Ty. Now the focus is the Texas and Ohio packs. Tabby coming out as the Queen. Ends with a cliff hanger. Liked Felix and really felt for him. He really worked hard to gain Harmony's trust and to not push her into anything. Harmony had been through a lot. I found her hard to like.
Overall a good series so far.

Books 1-5 of the Alaskan Tigers series. Linked stories, from orphaned Tabitha feeling feverish and rescued from danger by Ty a tiger shifter. Bethany is rescued by Raja in book 2. Robin is helped by Adam in book 3. Felix helps an abused Harmony and Kallie encounters Taber and Thorben twin bears. You laugh, cry and sympathise with the characters. A gripping read.
