Amos Ridge Kindle Edition
Drew Langly is the keeper of the crystal. With his contact, the crystal allows them to jump to different timestreams and help, if they can, to further that society or fix anything that improves their lives. When he’s ripped from the timestream, it’s the beginning of what will change everything they’ve come to know about how the different timestreams function.
Colby Adams is Drew’s boyfriend, fellow traveler, and jump partner. When Drew is left vulnerable after a failed jump, he’s there to help and try to figure out what went wrong. They soon discover another team of travelers is in trouble, but they’ve been warned against trusting them.
The more they learn, the more they realize everything has been a lie. To rewrite a history that’s been full of deceit, they’ll need to put their trust, once again, in strangers. Can they rewind it all and begin again? Experience the history they were always meant to? With some unconventional help, maybe…

About the Author
BL Maxwell grew up in a small town listening to her grandfather spin tales about his childhood. Later she became an avid reader and after a certain vampire series she became obsessed with fanfiction. She soon discovered Slash fanfiction and later discovered the MM genre and was hooked.
Many years later, she decided to take the plunge and write down some of the stories that seem to run through her head late at night when she's trying to sleep.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 17, 2023Amos Ridge by BL Maxwell contains some of my favorite things in the paranormal genre - magic (aka future science) and time travel. The book’s main characters, Drew and Colby, are both likable guys who find themselves being thrust into unfamiliar situations through the use of a mysterious crystal. It was fun to read about the different environments they find themselves in. I especially liked the scenes set in an alternate ancient Egypt. There are several twists in the story that most will not see coming. Just when everything seems at the worst, there is a possible solution. It is hard to say much more without spoilers, but I loved the book!

I received an ARC and this is my unbiased opinion
- Reviewed in the United States on October 24, 2020So while I don't love it, I do really like it. This story had so much potential!! Unfortunately, the author made it unnecessarily convoluted, repetitive, and slightly cheesy. She could have focused more attention on other details to enhance the storyline or cut it shorter. You might skim through parts of it - still read it though.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 20, 2020I have a special fondness in my heart for multi-author book line-ups. It’s how I discovered so many fabulous authors, so you can imagine how thrilled I was to hear about the Beyond the Realm Remembers series. There are so many amazing authors participating in this realm including my favorite lady BL Maxwell!
Amos Ridge was scary, wild, and so crazy. This book took me on a real mind-bender because time travel will do that to me. You would never believe that this BL Maxwell’s first time-travel romance because it is so well-written! Her mind is a scary place because Amos Ridge took me on several loops, twists, turns, repeat, repeat, and then a surprise curveball.
Colby and Drew are childhood best friends who discover something amazing when they were younger. They discover a crystal that can help them time travel and they’re informed by Dodge, their mentor, that the journey they take can help mankind. Colby and Drew fall in love with each other as they travel together through different realities and time itself. Unfortunately, an accident occurs on one of their time jumps, and Drew is ripped out of time. Colby keeps jumping in time to find his boyfriend and remind Drew about who he really is. The past became the present which became the future which became someone's past which made my head spin! This book kept me on the edge of my seat and it was so exciting :)
After they meet up again, they have to figure out what went wrong with their mission. Both of them meet another pair of travelers in trouble but they are uncertain about trusting them. Colby and Drew believe their mentor when he warns them not to trust any Traveler. Along the way, they discover that everything they were taught was a lie. What a wonderful adventure through time and beyond in the Amos Ridge.
The world building, time streams, and symbolism were amazing. If you enjoy best friends to lovers, sci-fi, and romance, then you must read this book! It's a gem that fell from the time stream to land in my lap so thank you BL Maxwell!
**I RECEIVED AN ARC FROM THE AUTHOR SO THIS REVIEW IS SOLELY MY OWN.*
- Reviewed in the United States on May 3, 2021I have rarely read a book that has time traveling in it. I always thought it would be so crazy to keep up with the different characters and situations, boy was I wrong! BL Maxwell made it easy to follow and lots of fun. Highly recommended
- Reviewed in the United States on July 15, 2023This storyline draws you in immediately and won’t let go. I read the entire book on the edge of my seat. Colby and Drew discover a crystal in a cave, Rosalind and Ryan also discover a crystal different cave. Gabon and Dacey find theirs in a temple, Heda and Amr in a sandstorm and Cara and Faith in Ireland. Five crystal and five pairs of people and one evil man who wants to control everything. A great mystery and adventure in time travel you don’t want to miss.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 21, 2020This is a great book! Drew meets a stranger who asks him to help him and that he needs to remember, that he love him! And then disappear... he doesn’t know what happened, he have dreams of the same stranger and they talk about how they know each other and that he need to remember him..the book jump in a few chapters between the past and present in this story. Drew and Colby are best friends since childhood and later they become boyfriends. They discovered a cave in one of their adventures and find a special stone... here’s where their traveling starts, Drew and Colby have a great chemistry and I loved that Colby is so protective of Drew and want to take care of him, the other characters in this story are great too, all of them make this book really interesting, if you like sci-fi adventures, friends to lovers, a few time travelers this book is a most read, I highly recommended it!
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting
The story and the world was really interesting. I wanted it to be longer to spent more time in the world. Unfortunately I couldn't connect with the characters as much. I missed the spark between them.

5.0 out of 5 stars A captivating tale!
I love multiauthor series and how each author write their own interpretation of the topic. This new installment in the series took this interpretation to the maximus expression. The plot simply blew my mind. Drew and Colby's story was a roller coaster of situations and emotions that caught me inside since the beginning to the very end. I couldn't let go until I reached the epilogue feeling that It was too quick and wishing for much more. One of the best stories on the series and certainly one of the most interesting ones. Loved It!
