    My first time reading Melanie Moreland turned out to be a rewarding experience, as her clever way of writing kept me captivated during every engrossing scene. The situations that developed came across as very believable, while the behavior of the characters also seemed true-to-life. How the main couple responds to each other as well as any events was depicted with a wide range of sentiments, and I was affected right along with them. AN INSTANT CONNECTION is an engagingly delightful romance at all times.

    Although Mandy Clifford thought she would enjoy her new work place, her boss makes it impossible to be happy. After an especially tough day, she ends up conversing with a man while waiting on the bus to take her home, and he charms her into having dinner with him. As Mandy lets Mitch Emerson into more of her life, she is surprised by how connected she feels to him in such a short time.

    Mitch and Mandy often feel great joy about a situation, yet there are times when an event has them demonstrating their frustration and even anger. I really liked how candid these two were with each other from the very start, and many of their discussions are filled with quick-wit and some great comebacks, causing me lots of laughs. But like in real life, some issues crop up and cause them problems, and wanting to know what each would ultimately decide to do kept me reading without stopping. Mandy and Mitch are both likable, and their lively personalities constantly kept me entertained.

    Mitch and Mandy have an instant connection. Well, it's love at first sight for Mitch as he sees Mandy waiting for a bus. Little do they know that their connection while spontaneous and combustible leads to so much more as Mitch puts all his charm and effort into convincing Mandy to take a risk on him. I love how open and direct Mitch is with Mandy, even if he did leave out one very important fact about their relationship as they spend a weekend together falling in love. Mitch messes up, but he does a wonderful job of fixing things and he puts as much effort into fixing what's broken as he does at the start wooing Mandy. There's wonderful communication and humor between the two of them. I love the way Ms Moreland treats her characters as adults who own their mistakes, who take their knocks, but they get back up and fight for what they want. I love that they communicate. And most of all, I love that Mitch is dedicated, protective, and singularly focused on having Mandy as his forever. Such a wonderful story of a chance meeting, falling in love, messing up, forgiveness, and the forever kind of love. Marvelous.

If you love a book boyfriend that sees you, instantly wants you and does everything in his power to get you to go on a date with him. Then he treats you like a queen making sure everything in your world is perfect and you always know you are first in his mind you will love this book. These InstaSpark books are my absolute favorite type of book. Life is hard and a book like this can make you smile. I highly recommend all M Moreland, Melanie Morelands books she is an amazing author!

    So An Instant Connection only has one thing wrong with it, it's a novella! Mitch, the hero, is cocky and charming, Mandy, our heroine is sweet and sassy. They make a lovely couple. Mitch is new to town, a well placed whistle to help a stranger leads him to Mandy. A 3 step plan, a confrontation at work, a second 3 step plan (Mitch loves a good 3 step plan) and Mitch has his girl, and we have An Instant Connection. Melanie has given us another great read for when you have a couple hours, it's like a mini read. This is a fab addition to her Insta-sparks series. Like the first 2, An Instant Connection made me smile, a little angsty, sometimes frustrated but ultimately Melanie nack for telling a great story makes me happy.

    P.S. check out Read me Romance podcast to hear the audio book, the voices are on point. But this ebook has an bonus epilogue, which takes happily ever after to forever.
