    The characters were great. So was the storyline and plot.

    This series just isn't getting my attention. They all seem immature, keeping stuff in but then needing each other, getting kicked out of the club then come back in. Just odd. I also can't stand when a women calls her man "Daddy" it just creeps me out.

    Angel is a member of the Steel Scorpions MC and has a tumultuous past. He was never the perfect son. His high school love is a woman that he left because he thought she would be better off without him in her life. Safer, a better life with someone that could give her everything she wanted. However, when life struck and she’s alone again, Angel and Nadia find themselves sneaking around to be together. They’re just hooking up though, right?

    Nadia’s sister has just started a relationship with the VP of the Steel Scorpions MC and neither of them know about her and Angel, but when Nadia finds herself in a bad situation, The Steel Scorpions MC will do what they can to get her back and protect her because she’s the sister of an old lady. Nadia is a strong-willed woman that has been working to learn to protect herself with the help of Angel, after she lost her husband.

    I liked this story of Angel and Nadia; they are both stubborn and can’t figure out that they need each other in their lives to live. Nadia is a fighter, but when she finds herself in danger she hopes and prays that Angel will find her and rescue her. Angel would do anything to find Nadia and when he makes a deal with the devil his future is in jeopardy. Now these two have to find a way. to stay safe and happy. I love the characters and can’t wait to see what kind of deals, trouble, or danger the rest of these Steel Scorpions find when they get snagged by the woman that will bring them to their knees. I give this book a. 5-star review and I am looking forward to the Goose’s story next.

    We got hints to Angel and Nadia’s relationship in Bender. But, this book is all about them. Nadia is put in the middle of the ongoing MC war between the Steel Scorpions and Devil’s Rage. Angel is determined to do what he has to in order to protect her no matter what. His feelings for Nadia put his spot in the MC in jeopardy when he has to go outside the club to help Nadia. There are references to the events in Bender; if you haven’t read that book, then the references may be a little confusing for you. Even though this is Angel and Nadia’s story, I wanted a little more closure between Angel and Nadia’s sister, Aria (aka the main in Bender). There is a scene where she references the sisters’ past with Angel and I wanted to see that talked through and resolved. We also are introduced to the female lead for the next book in the series and it appears to be a promising story.

    This is the second book in this amazing series, and this is Angel and Nadia’s journey. These two used to be high school sweethearts until Angel broke Nadia’s heart, and they have reconnected since the death of her husband. When a rival MC kidnaps Nadia, it brings down the wrath of Angel and the MC. This is a well written fast paced action-packed story, which is raw, gritty, and intense, with suspense, intrigue, secrets, emotions, drama, violence, passion, and love, which leads to a riveting and addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
