She was teasing, but he did not smile. "Just like me."

He pulled on her nipples again, more forcefully this time, then dragged her against his chest.He silenced her moan with his mouth, and Anna shuddered when Luka licked her lips, then past them. She reached up around his neck, pressed the whole length of her body against him. The pleasure of victory flushed through him, sharp and powerful.

So much submission. So sweet. He pulled away from her lips and howled, and the pack joined him, set the mountains ringing with the eerie harmony of their cry.

Luka saw Anna's mouth open, the sudden realization on her face. He tugged her hair back and looked down into her eyes, then ran his tongue along the line of her throat, sucked heat to the surface and felt her shiver.

"That's right, Anna. It wasn't a joke."

    Holy hell was this a hot read. M/F erotica isn't usually my thing, but I LOVED reading this. Luka is hot and compelling, and Anna is sweet and innocent, but wanting to lose her virginity. She takes the whole pack of werewolves in every way possible, and Belinda Burke does it RIGHT. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series, Sophie in September.

    A fairly straightforward supernatural erotica, this nonetheless takes time to build up the characters involved. You get drawn into the story, because there certainly is the solid framework of a larger work lurking behind the (very) explicit and (seriously) steamy smut going on! There are going to be sequels, I think, judging from the title of the book, we'll have a sequel to look forward to in September! Personally, I can't wait - I'm usually a bit iffy about erotica but this one was well written, not just as a sexy story - but well, as a story.
