Any Way You Plan It – Book 4

Sometimes a teenage kiss stays with you long after the prom is over.

Ten years down the track and Marissa really needs to move on and get over Mike. She updates her wardrobe and her attitude and rediscovers the part of herself that likes to dance until dawn.

Mike wants Marissa to be happy but watching her flirt - and worse - start dating again, has him rethinking his plan to remain in the friend zone.

Is this a case of not knowing what you’ve got until it’s gone? And if so what is Mike prepared to do to get Marissa back when the whole town seems to be offering advice? Will Marissa and Mike get their happily ever after or is it a case of too little too late?

If you like small town romances, being snowed in and dancing the night away you’ll love Any Way You Plan It.

For me, this story moved more slowly than the first three. However, I really enjoyed it. Melissa took charge of her life and finally Mike started noticing. Good story with all the usual cast of characters from the townspeople to the stars of the previous books in the series.

This story reminded me of a friend I had many years ago who'd been living with a guy for ages, expecting him to propose, and she finally had to tell him it was time to get married or get out. When he realized she was serious, he told her he didn't want to lose her, & they got married. I must admit I've often wondered if it lasted.

It makes a character like Mike easier to understand in some ways - we don't like to change so long as we're comfortable enough, & Mike very much was, so he needed something sufficiently painful to motivate him to decide and act.

There were moments I wanted to slap some sense into Mike, too, but once he "wakes up", it's really sweet & has a lovely ending.

Todd was such an awesome friend; I'm really looking forward to his HEA now

*Clean romance level: passionate kisses, secular attitudes on sex, main characters have sex, but no graphic details are given
*Religion: secular, using the Lord's Name in vain including cursing several times, sadly
    *Language: minor swear words

The plot is familiar but there are definitely some twists along the way. You want to keep reading to find out how it really turns out.I appreciated the fast pace. It kept the story intriguing. Doesn't everyone wonder how things might have turned out if things had been different with that one special person in their past?

Started out slow and unfortunately stayed slow. Two primary characters were boring and Mike especially I just wanted to slap. I absolutely adored Todd. Disappointing.

This is my favorite Upper Crust book! I loved snuggling into the small New Hampshire town to enjoy the romance of local librarian Marissa and local reporter Mike. This story has such a sweet, warm feel to it ... mmmm. Wonderful book!

I have really enjoyed this series. Monique has done a great job blending all the books so far together. I was really rooting for Mike to get his act together. I applaud Marissa for her patience. Another well written book.

I opened the book and fell into the characters lives and didn't want to come out until I reached the end. Monique has a wonderful way of bringing the story to life so you feel right at home. Not only a satisfying read but leaves you wanting to follow her side characters looking forward to Chloe and Moose's journey and can't wait for Todd's.
