Overview

Terrorists blow up the White House and the Capitol, killing the President and his successors, the entire Supreme Court, and a large part of the US government. The surviving Chief of Naval Operations takes over the government and assumes dictatorial powers.

In a preemptive missile attack China destroys most of America’s military air assets on the ground and invades the West Coast to ensure the safety of its $7 trillion investment in the US. Al Qaeda sleeper cells form the Army of God and start a domestic terror campaign to take over the country.

American freedom fighters take to the hills to bring back democracy; among them a former Army Ranger and a sultry redhead Military Police officer. The American Insurrection begins!

About the Author

Beginning my professional life as a US Army infantry officer, I recently retired as a Career Member of the Senior Foreign Service at the US Department of State. I served our country in times of peace and war armed with esoteric military and diplomatic skills and speaking several foreign languages. Throughout my career the government deployed me on permanent or temporary duty to 32 foreign countries. I hold a Bachelor’s degree on Politics and Public Affairs from the University of Miami at Coral Gables; a Master of Science in Management from Florida International University at Miami; and, a Master of Science in National Security Strategy from the National War College, National Defense University, Washington, D.C. Living near the tranquil source of the picturesque Rock Creek in the unincorporated area of Maryland’s Montgomery County, its surrounding wilderness inspired the Insurrection Series. I published "Appalachian Command" in July 2013, "Mile-High Blood" in December 2014 and Tiger Legion in April 2017. Currently, I'm working on my next book "Letters from Blitz."
