    This was such a fun book to read. I am a huge fan of Greek mythology and this book has that in spades. Harlow has always taken on the care of others, even though it costs her every time. Harlow has been taking care of her nephew Colby since he was 12. She loves him like he is her own son. Harlow and her brother run The Arena, a fight club for humans, shape shifters and others. Warrick fights there often, when he is not busy running his PI business or helping out at the MC he is a part of. Harlow has a secret crush on Warrick and doesn't think he has even noticed her. He has noticed, and steps in when Harlow starts having trouble at the fight club, in the most unexpected way. They are obviously attracted to each other. However, Warrick and Harlow have quite a few hurdles to jump over before they get the HEA they deserve. Get this book ASAP. I promise you won't regret it. Sorry, no spoilers. I received this ARC and here is my honest review.

    After some bad turns in life Harlow ends up at The Arena working for her brother. He's shady and after figuring this out Ares helps her out. It's an interesting read filled with blood, drama and of course fights. Overall I enjoyed it.

    I wasn't expecting a Pulitzer Prize winner, so it delivered a cute story - BUT OMG whoever did the proofreading and editing needs to go back to about 5th grade. The bad grammar and weird use of some words was just distracting. I know that spellcheck is an evil thing sometimes but making up words and mangling basic language constructs is just weird, and while I never loved grammar in English class, I understand the reason it exists. I found enough off the wall words and grammar to break a teacher's brain. Probably worst example - Annite (this is a mineral) I can only guess it should have been ANTE which would have made sense in that particular sentence. Please for the sake of all the reading public get a better editor.

    Another brilliant book in the Gods Of Thunder MC series, a multi Author series.
    This is Ares & Harlow's story.
    Ares, PI by day, MMA fighter by night.
    Harlow is the accountant of The Arena, her brother's fighting club.
    She loves Greek mythology & her favourite God is , well Ares, of course .
    Havening been disappointed by her ex-husband and taking care of her nephew, she lives a lonely life. Unable to trust another, she has a thing for Warrick, who uses Ares as a stage band. Clever tactic by the God of War...
    Ares also is highly attracted to Harlow, but since he hasn't the best of relationships either, he siesjy act upon his feelings.
    Until Harlow gets into trouble.
    Both characters are well written and thought out, Ares true to his persona.
    Harlow, the disappointed woman who has given up on love and devotes her life to her brother and nephew.
    Most of the story is set ringside and gives an inside to the world of fighting , which fits totally.
    Interesting plotline , great characters and all in all a great read.
    Really enjoyed reading this book and looking forward to reading about Apollo, which was also written by TL Reeve & Michele Ryan.

    I'm working my way through this series as I really like the concept of the Greek Gods coming to live among humans on earth under the guise of members of an MC. I enjoyed this one centering around a fight club so it's no surprise that the hero is Ares, God Of War. A good cast of characters andan equally good storyline make this a book that I would recommend

    Ares and Harlow's story. The main characters are well written and fleshed out. The chemistry between Harlow and Warrick (Ares) starts as a slow burn and becomes an inferno. Her brother Chad is up to no good. When Harlow finds out he has been up to no good fleecing money from the fighters she goes all out to sort it. Ares becomes involved when Harlow is injured and he steps in to help her. In amongst this the other characters, Ares sons, his sister and his familiar add to the enjoyment of the story. I loved Colby and the relationship between him and Harlow. A great story set in the MMA world with an HEA.
