Not His Biker Goddess: Gods of Thunder MC Kindle Edition

4.3 out of 5 stars 94 ratings

She may be the goddess of war, but can she handle a fight for her heart?

Athena, Goddess of War, has never been in love, and that’s just fine with her. The logic is clear: love equals drama. She’s perfectly content with her life in the Gods of Thunder Motorcycle Club, just ask her… but then what is this itch she’s feeling? Why can’t she sleep? What is making her so stir-crazy? Athena revs up her Indian Chief and rolls out of town, hoping to calm the fires within.

But driving a vintage bike isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. When her Chief breaks down in the smallest of small towns, Athena discovers there are some things even a goddess can’t find. Vintage part? Get in line. At least the mechanic knows what he’s doing. And that’s the trouble, because now she’s calm and cool. Now she’s sleeping like the dead, if the dead slept with gigantic smiles on their faces.

Malcolm Sova is back after too many tours in Afghanistan. He’s hung up his special forces patch and returned to his first love: anything on two wheels. Nothing makes more sense than fixing and riding motorcycles. But when the raven-haired goddess rolls into town on the sweetest Chief he’s ever seen, he’s faced with a challenge that feels more like a battlefield from his past.

Can two hardened warriors drop their shields long enough to see they’re fighting for the same thing?

Loved Athena and Malcom’s story !! Sexy and hot , without being over the top. Who knew goddesses know how to play pool ?? Read the book and see why it’s so important, lol. 5⭐️’s for a quick, cute read .

This was such an unexpectedly fun read, and I've always wanted to see Athena fall in love! Somehow this book captured the spirit of Athena so perfectly from over thinking to being good at pool to having to Google how to flirt. Malcolm was a good match, though I wish we'd gotten a little more show than tell with him. Still, I loved his chemistry with Athena and will definitely be reading more of the series!

This title of this book was misleading. It wasn't at all what I thought it would be about. I'm sorry to say, but I just couldn't get into it.

Our heroine is the goddess of war, our heroine a retired warrior. They are used to the heat of battle, but battles of the heart are another matter entirely.

This is an urban fantasy story something of a motorcycle club feel. The story is well written and easy to read with some great characters. I loved both or hero and heroine and enjoyed watching them feel their way towards a relationship. There is also a nice bit of humor to the story which is just icing on the cake. Overall, I found the story to be highly enjoyable and am definitely looking forward to more from this author..

    Highly recommended.

Athena decides to try giving human a fair adventure. She sets out on her Indian Chief motorcycle and ends up in Shun Falls. There she meets Malcolm. He’s former military and recouping from a broken relationship. Overall a cute, romantic read.

Not His Biker Goddess is Athena's journey of love. Athena is the Goddess of War so love isn't on her mind. Or is it, she's having trouble sleeping, concentrating, and she's going stir crazy. She hops on her bike and ends out meeting and falling for the local mechanic Malcolm. I loved the way the author brought these two together and how Athena finds out how to be human. The writing is well done, the characters are entertaining and this love story is packed with humor, drama, steam, and a great ending. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Athena, Goddess of War, is missing something in life but isn't sure what, so she gets on her vintage motorcycle and takes off. But her search for adventure comes to a standstill when her bike breaks down just outside a very small town. Thankfully, they have a mechanic but their first meeting awakens something Athena has never felt before. Malcolm Sova is back from Afghanistan and starting a new life. He thinks he knows exactly what he wants. Until he meets Athena.

I truly enjoyed this book, and Athena's story. The book was well-written with wonderful characters and a sweet romance. This was a quick, fun read that drew me in from the beginning and kept me hooked throughout as I read it in one sitting. I loved the small town feel and the soul deep connection between Athena and Malcolm. I highly recommend this book which is part of a multi-author series.

Athena was a lot of fun and a total BAMF. I really like her attitude toward certain people, because they needed it.

This is Athena the Goddess of War's story. Now living on earth, Zeus having 'closed' Mount Olympus she lives with her owl Glaux. She thought that it would be exciting living on earth but she is now bored. Despite making two friends, Naomi who is a master weaver and Alice whose passion is the history of the American Civil war, both subjects that Athena is passionate about herself. Whilst drinking in the MC bar, Euryale the bartender challenges her saying that studying ancient history and weaving are not a life and she needs to get out and about and find some new challenges and adventure. So after some deliberation she decides that perhaps it's time to see what's out there. She packs a bag and gets onto her motorbike she has named Baby Blu and sets off. She starts to enjoy herself and think that perhaps she has been in a rut and just as she shouts, "All right Adventure!. Here I am! Hit me with your best shot!" her bike breaks down. She is able to free wheel down the hill towards a small town. She quickly finds a garage with a hunky, naked God of a man showering outside. It turns out Malcolm had fallen in manure after tripping over a dog at his grandmother's house. He stares at this beautiful woman before him and after a few awkward moments, he rushes upstairs to his home above the garage and comes back dressed. Athena explains her problem and he agrees to do look her bike over. While she is waiting she goes to a local diner. Malcolm joins her and breaks the news about her bike. The parts that have broken need to come from Poland so she will have to stay in the town for a few days. She's not too worried about this she is on an adventure after all. Their conversation is interrupted by Malcolm's ex-fiance, Katie. Malcolm is not too keen to see her but she is determined to flirt with him. Athena sensing his discomfort asks him about the B&B and they then leave to go there. He goes to ask her to dinner but she evades this by going into the B&B. But fate has other ideas and she turns up in the biker bar for a bite to eat and Malcolm is there. They end up playing pool and this is the start of their tentative relationship. But all is not plain sailing as Katie has ideas of getting Malcolm back. This is a lovely story, a nice pace with some laugh out loud moments, interfering from grandmothers, ex-fiances, misunderstandings but all heading towards an HEA for Athena and Malcolm. A well written love story with great characters.

Not His Biker Goddess is part of the Gods Of Thunder MC series, a multiauthor series.
Athena and Malcom are at the centre of this book.
Again another brilliant book, my first by Corinne O'Flynn and I can honestly say Athena, along with Hephaestus, is my favourite Goddess of the series so far and I'm not sure if these 2 can be topped!
Athena, Goddess of War, has struggled to settle on earth since Zeus decided to shut down Mount Olympus and although she has been spending her time usefully, something is missing. She is not interested in finding love, as according to her that only complicates life.
She takes her vintage bike and just heads down the highway when her bike decides to break down on her.
Luckily for her, Malcom, ex-Green Beret and new owner of the local garage, is there to fix her bike.
Malcom has recently come back to stay in the small town where he spent plenty of summers with his grandma.
His ex-Fiance is still causing him trouble and is suddenly showing interest in him again, but Malcom has no interest to start things with his cheating ex.
Athena on the other hand totally peaks his interest, and the feeling is mutual.
Super cute, both characters are equally lovable and just a feel good story.
Athena, having never been in love is unsure how to handle the situation, but she's on an adventure, what could go wrong?
Highly recommended story about 2 warriors finding their HEA!!!
