I think Dylan may be Kayley's swooniest hero so far....I loved that there's so much growth with the characters and the story itself. You see how they evolve, as their story evolves too. Even when they mess up, as we all do, they grow with it. It's kind of very real, while being absolutely dreamy as well.

“You still don’t believe in fate?” Another winner in The Brodie Brothers Series!! This is an amazing story about taking chances and risking everything despite fear for a true love. I am in love with Dylan Brodie, he is charming, funny, and so corny…gosh he’s my epitome of perfect specimen in a rom-com. And Scarlett is his perfect match, despite all her past she’s willing to take the risk that Dylan represents. As always Kayley Loring gives her best and makes us laugh in every possible scenario, the inner dialogues of the characters are just hilarious, and we get all the steam between them. This is one of those books you want to get cozy with a nice cup of coffee, a plush blanket in front of the fireplace and just savor every page.

    I think Dylan and Scarlett are my favorite couple in this series so far. They are both so raw and real. I like how introspective they are and how they work at being their best selves. Dylan finally figures out what real love is, and it’s not found with a co-star.

    It must be difficult to make a relationship work in the acting world, but they make you believe it can really end in an HEA. Her son Noah is hilarious and the brother banter is the best part. Momma Brodie is as always, on point. A great series!

    I actually had so much fun reading this book! It made me laugh several times. It felt different to me, and I love how open Dylan is about his feelings (something you wouldn’t expect from a male). But the fact that he is so vulnerable and isn’t afraid to show it, is pretty captivating. Again, I love this entire family dynamic the Brodie Brothers have, and was happy to see a little bit of reality in it. I can’t wait for Miles story though!!

    Grinning. I was grinning like a fool while reading this sexy, playful, and SWOONY love story – it is smart and funny and just so completely Loring. I loved every minute of it. Our hero is a sweet charmer, a guy who loves love and always wants to be immersed in it. When paired with a slightly older (and possibly wiser) heroine, he becomes the best version of himself, and that was so very fulfilling to read. There are some seriously great family moments in this, with fart jokes, judgmental Basset Hounds, and laughter-filled text exchanges. There is also some fan-worthy sexual tension, and a couple of steamy scenes that are just so perfectly intimate. This forbidden romance is a complete joy to read, and I devoured it at an alarming rate.

    The story follows Dylan, an actor who always seems to fall for his co-stars. Showmances often feel like the real thing, and Dylan has had his heart broken SO MANY times. He’s ready to seek the advice of a therapist, and visits one who came highly recommended. The only problem? She’s also the woman who captured Dylan’s attention during their brief, but memorable, interaction a few years ago. When they met the first time around, Scarlett was a single mom still reeling from a divorce. Now that she’s in a better headspace, Dylan is off-limits. He’s too young, too charming, too unlucky in love – and also her new patient. But their chemistry is impossible to ignore, and Dylan might just be worth taking a chance on.

    There are so many things I loved about this, but the combination of characters was EXCELLENT. Dylan is the sweetest, swooniest man ever; I adored his transition from boy to man. Scarlett is his perfect complement, and the two together are smokin’ hot. Loring does a great job of ratcheting up the tension, and the steamy scenes are electric. Everything about this was so good, though it definitely gets better and better as the story progresses. There’s humor and lightheartedness throughout, but once the heartfelt moments kick in, things are taken up another notch. This will absolutely read as a standalone, but you’ll be left wanting more from this funny family – and I am extremely impatient for Miles’ story. It’s the kind of low angst, intimate read that I love digging into, with a vibe that is undeniably unique. I was lucky enough to receive an early copy and am voluntarily leaving a review of this sexy, light romance.

    Kayley has this unique and utterly impressive ability to bring a joke, story, sweet time, cleaver tidbit, and swoony moment full circle. The way she connects her stories and interweaves these details is spectacular. There was so much of that in Attachment Theory, I found myself grinning like a fool throughout the book. So many characters who were introduced in the first book of the series have a role in this one. They stay true to their character and enhance the story. This only further added to the grinning like a fool.

    Dylan Brody is a dream. He’s not your typical male actor in a story like this. He does have a history of falling for his costars, but it’s not for the obvious reasons. He loves love. He wants to love big, and he finds connection with those costars. He is usually the one that gets broken up with after a show has wrapped, but he is always willing to try again.

    Scarlett is so relatable. I love her as a lead. I love that she is so smart and levelheaded at times, but also is a hot mess and a little nutty. Her punk garage band, the first song, instantly made me feel connected to her. It’s perfection and relatable and crazy and hilarious. I love that she was a loving, overwhelmed mom. I want to be her friend and feel overwhelmed and goofy together.

    This love story of Dylan and Scarlett was really good. It was a younger man, older woman story, but in some ways he was so rationale and level headed it seemed that it could have been the other way around. He helped Scarlett grow and trust, and she showed him what true love is. I loved them, I loved their story.

    I thought book 1, Owen and Frankie's story, was good. Dylan and Scarlett's story is even better.
    There is so much to love about the Brodie family. They are all incredibly funny, except Miles, and I loved the bond this family shares. They immediately welcomed Scarlett into the family. Scarlett's mother is funny and her affection for Dylan is sweet. Both families are nurturing.
    Noah, Scarlett's son, is a funny kid with his fixation with gas. He immediately bonds with Dylan.
    I loved this book so much and didn't want the story to end. Kayley Loring is a great author who writes wonderful characters with a high level of humor.

    So I love love stories. This book had amazing families on both sides (which is rare in romances) the texting that goes on in so funny (momma Brodie is a hoot). Dylan sounded a little weird one. Definitely a repeat offender of falling in relationships, a second chance meeting brings Scarlett to him again and he believes it is fate. There is a little spice nothing over the top and not a lot of it but they end up with their happy ever after.

    All hail to the Queen of banter! Not only between the couple, but within the families the teasing is unmeasured. Reading a Kayley book is an experience, for sure, and once again she didn’t disappoint. This book is a swoonfest all-over-the-time! It might even be my favorite from the author, well, it’s not, but close second!!!

    I’m absolutely in love with Dylan and Scarlett. The first time they met, they left a good impression on each other but they were in weird place. Three years later they’re face to face again, but now she is his therapist. With this little forbidden touch, for exactly 2 and 1/3 of a session, they had to temper and deny their feelings, but how great it was to see them failing?

    Dylan was supposed to be everything she didn’t want for her: younger, an actor, hot and he dated every co-star he worked with. She had her cute son Noah to think about. But he proved Scarlett so wrong. I swoon hard over him, his gestures, actions and dirty month were on point. But it was Dylan’s connection with Noah over Mr Noddles (the girl cat) that I knew I was a goner.

    The group texts with the Brodie family were so entertaining, even grumpy Miles (I also need to see more of drunk Miles!)! I need an yearly event of “Brodie and Friends Family Feud” thanksgiving edition, where Kayley will release a short story with them all. I laughed so hard! There’s so much to talk about this amazing book, I devoured and felt like it ended to quickly, I always want more and more. It’s a must read!
