Austin: The Second Premise: A Dark Daddy Kink Trans/Gay Romance (Transitivity Book 2) Kindle Edition
Hunter Fitz has settled into his life in Riverside, spending time with Kacey and gearing up for his second semester of teaching at Boulder University. Everything seems to be going just fine—Hunter both embracing the darkness and keeping it at bay—until his past slams back into his life in the form of someone he'd thought he'd lost forever.
It's difficult enough to discover that Austin is alive after spending two decades thinking he was dead. But when Hunter learns just who Austin is to Kacey, the darkness threatens to consume him, and he might lose Austin all over again.
Until Hunter learns that Austin has a secret of his own, and decides he's going to have everything he wants, no matter what it takes.
Austin: The Second Premise is the second book in the Transitivity series. It contains two childhood best friends unexpectedly reunited, the flirtatious boy who brings them together, and a love triangle tug-of-war. It has an HFN ending, building up to an MMM HEA in book three. **This book contains content of a taboo nature. It also takes place in a fictional world, where the rules are different.**

About the author

G.R. Lyons stumbled into writing as a form of trauma recovery when traditional therapy wasn't working.
Then the story ideas just kept on coming.
Pulling from a vivid imagination as well as real-life experience as a trans man, a sexual assault survivor, and a person living with mental illness, Lyons has written multiple, interconnected series set within his fictional world of the Shifting Isles.
When not writing, Lyons can be found belly dancing around the house, studying anarcho-capitalist philosophy, buried in his never-ending TBR pile, or working out at the local CrossFit gym.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 26, 2019Austin is the second book in the Transitivity series by G.R.Lyons and continues the deliciously intense story of Kacey, Hunter and Austin. This book is even more amazing than the first. It is definitely a tale that takes you on a journey of lust, manipulation and taboo. I love the characters and how they interact with one another. I am anxious for the third installment of their story. Definitely recommen.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 1, 2019This series is definitely not for everyone it may trigger some. I however love the taboo side of things. I can’t wait to see what happens next.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 17, 2019Wow, I waited not so patiently for this book, and it didn’t disappoint. The heat, the chemistry, the desire it was everything. Austin finally admitting what he wants was beautiful to read. Kacey brings so sure one minute, then a mess the next as reality hits almost broke me. Hunter doing all he can to have everything he wants and craves, just make him so much stronger. I cannot wait for the final book in this series.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 24, 2020This is the second book in a series of three. This story is about Austin and how he reconnects with Hunter while fighting his attraction to Kacey. Finally giving us the three of them together.

GR Lyons newest series is taboo themed, yet intriguing, Kacey we learn is a college student, a virgin, a female to male trans, with a daddy issue. Soooo if this is your hard line this might not be your choice to read.
In saying this, although a bit uncomfortable, I continued the book and was enchanted by Kacey. His bright look at life, his good heart, wanted something that was his, although it was taboo. Kacey wanted his step father Austin to make love to him…..Austin, who I wanted to strangle…….and Kacey also chose his messed up professor Hunter…… who I wanted to know why he was that way!
We now are slowly finding out a bit more since this book is Austin’s. We also realize that Hunter’s great love…. that he lost and thought to have died….and is still alive…. The pieces are falling into place…..and did I mention there is much hotness in this book?????
The tri relationship is just beginning….Next is Hunters book…..I will be there…
- Reviewed in the United States on August 13, 2019As I continue the decadent journey with G.R. Lyons’ Transitivity trilogy let’s take a look at Austin: The Second Premise. Austin’s story yields revelation, lost love, and self-discovery as the past and present collide in an explosive, albeit sometimes manipulative, sequence of events.
To begin, in my review of Kacey: The First Premise I mentioned that Hunter represents darkness. And while that is true, we begin to see a kinder, loving side to this complex and tormented soul. Hunter is most definitely a result of his past. As things slowly emerge, your understanding dawns and while you may not condone his tantalizingly debauched actions, the man settles within your heart.
Kacey remains a force of nature. His spirit and outlook are ever present as is his unique grasp on the world. His daddy kink is ever present, and the lascivious little minx is a real hoot. However, let’s not overlook the kind, caring and generous person the boy truly is.
Since this is Austin’s story, of course he is front and center this time. As Kacey’s stepfather he wrestles with his feelings toward the boy. Given hints of his past, empathy emerges. Yet, this situation is completely different and acceptance dawns on the horizon.
Yes, I fell in love with Kacey in the First Premise, but Austin: The Second Premise takes these men to new heights. Manipulation and taboo resound but so does love and healing. Austin finds a hard-won tranquility and acceptance of his past. To be completely at peace, this quiet and gentle man has a battle ahead of him, but the strength that emerges is glorious to behold.
Thwack… Austin: The Second Premise concludes with a bombshell that heightens the experience and I immediately had to open Hunter: The Conclusion. I desperately want to see these men get past the perceived “taboo” nature to their bonding, to be able to set aside their individual torments, to achieve their true destiny.
You definitely need to read Transitivity in order. Austin: The Second Premise builds on the events of Kacey: The First Premise. One needs to have the backstory to completely enjoy the beautiful relationship that emerges between these men.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 16, 2019Messy but with some hot spots.
It’s a bit hard to follow the story when most of the characters have their own secrets, which we don’t now. And that bleeds into the story and makes it a bit confusing.

5.0 out of 5 stars I still love it!
Addictive read. Not masses of plot but just right. On so many levels. Good writing and the characters are so lovable you can’t help but root for them and want to know more!
