         Wow this was different and I loved it. The book catches you from the first page, to the end taking you on the ride of your life. Oh Yes "DragShifterrific".
         Lola Moreau is a Human Dragon Slayer she wishes. If she wasn't held back by her crazy brothers she could be. A women's place is in the yada, yada, yada! BAH! So they thought but she would teach them she could fight. WRONG!!! This only gets her into trouble let alone captured.
          Rafael Hart it's a Dragon Shifter who was sworn to take care of Princess Cassandra de Rege with his life if need be. Rafe, Levi and Brody were Dragonsworn to have his symbol burned into his chest with a drop of blood is an honor not many have. Taking care and guarding the Princess was basically nothing, finding a slayer and watching her proved to be far tougher for Rafe, especially when he realizes she is his Mate.
         OMG this book is Dynamite will book #2 be the same?

But it's not long before Lola realizes that everything she was taught about dragons is wrong.     The first in a new dragon series.

    A well written and very well edited story. An interesting new take with some believable world building. The part I liked most of all was all of it. What impressed me and kept my interest was there was little to no angst and redundancy. I do feel, however, the author could have spent a few more words in describing the environment around the characters.

    There has to be a back story somewhere because there are important secondary characters where their cursory glossings just don't sit right with the whole of the story.

    This is a nice twist on a dragon story. Lola just want to prove that she can be a fighter of the slayers. Rafael is a guard for the child of the royal family of dragons.     Rafe has finally fulfilled his life's destiny, he has become a dragonsworn. His duty to protect the royal baby. Lola has spent her whole life knowing how evil dragon shifters are, they will name, destroy and kill anything in their way, all she wants is to protect other humans from the dragon abominations. When her brothers won't let her fight, she sneaks out to kill a dragon on her own, but when the dragon she tries to kill saves her life, she may have to rethink what she's been taught her whole life. Rafe can't believe that woman that just tried to kill him is his mate, luckily the consort has announced that Lola is not to be harmed. Rafe must glean information from Lola, but the secrets she keeps could destroy all the dragons she's growing to like.

    This was a fabulous story. It made you realize that everything isn't as it seems, and that sometimes the enemy are actually your allies. Rafe's instant acceptance of Lola was just beautiful. The ending was great. This was an absolute pleasure to read.
