    What a terrific book this was!! It is an unputdownable page-turner that I read in record time. This story is told in a nonlinear timeline with three points of view. Abbey is newly divorced which she announced on her Instagram account and is looking forward to taking a road trip. Raven is her estranged college roommate who suffers from infertility and has been stalking Abbey's social media accounts. Raven "liked" Abbey's post and commented "miss you." Abbey responded and they met up for drinks at which time Raven invites herself to go along on Abbey's trip. This turns out to be a very interesting road trip indeed! I highly recommend this fast paced exciting book that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

    Another Home-run by Cathryn Grant!! This was a fast paced, extremely enjoyable read that I ended reading in one sitting!
    We first meet Abbey, who has just finalized her divorce and is ecstatic! She decides to plan a Road Trip to celebrate her new freedom... something she never had until now. When her old college roommate and best friend, Raven, sees Abbey's plans via Social Media, she reaches out to her, hoping to reconnect. They haven't spoken since Abbey abruptly left college following a tragic incident.
    Abbey is a bit weary about Raven joining her on the RT, but she agrees..hoping to receive a long overdue apology from her former friend. Raven on the other hand, thinks this will be a blast... that they will fall easily back into their close friendship. Plus, it will take her mind off the fact that she can't seem to get pregnant.
    It's obvious from the beginning that the two women have very different expectations and don't remember the past three same way. The tension becomes almost unbearable after the Women realize that they are being followed en route to their second planned stop. Raven swears is the same menacing Man that was watching her at the Hotel they stayed in the previous night. To add to the fun, the story has a THIRD POV, via Journal entries made by Lily, who was also a roommate of Raven's and Abbey's in College. She was an outcast who tragically died at a college party.
    So, who is following the women? And why? What's the reason Abbey and Raven remember the past so differently.... is one of them a bit unstable? What does Lily's tragic death have to do with present events? What will her journal reveal? You'll have to read to find those answers, but I CAN tell you that it will be an enjoyable time. I don't get completely lost in a Book very easily, and I was completely immersed in this wild ride. I would highly recommend this to any reader. This just might be my all time favorite from this Author!

    The book was ok but there were no likeable characters. Every single person in the story was a bad person. The ending was really not well thought out either. Left way too many loose ends. Without ruining the story, I'm just going to say that she absolutely would have been caught for those crimes within days. Everything is traceable and trackable these days, including rental cars obviously.

    I’ve read so many books by this author and I’m never disappointed. She sets the tone slowly building up to a peak of unbelievable suspense! Her characters are fully developed and she leaves you guessing up to a point. It’s never quite what you believed you figured out. Highly recommend this book or any of her books!

    This is one of those psych thrillers that wanders around for a while, drawing the reader in, finally leading to a surprising ending. It is not exactly linear, but it is very easy to follow. Abbey and Raven were best friends in college. A tragedy caused one of them to drop out. But neither of them has followed the best path into their current lives. When the opportunity arrives for a road trip to a college reunion, they have the chance to bury some memories, clear up some misunderstandings, create new beginnings. It’s not a spoiler to say that things don’t go exactly as planned. There are good plot points, but the reader has to suspend disbelief for character motivations.     A character driven story that follows two reacquainted old college friends Amber and Raven, as they are forced to relive a tragic event from the past and the role they played in it.

    Multiple points of view and duel timelines form the narration where throughout we learn of the heartbreaking event that shapes the present. This takes place via journal entries from Lily, who Amber and Raven shared a dorm room with in collage.

    I disliked both Amber and Raven. Each have secrets to hide and you are kept second guessing their intentions. I loved Lily, a gentle soul, and I would have liked reading more from her point of view.

    Best Friends Forever is another suspenseful and gripping psychological thriller from Grant. A fast paced twisty read that had me hooked from beginning to end.

Years later Raven seeks out Abbey and she decides to join in on a road trip in hopes of renewing their BFF state and to bury the past,but when she is convinced they are being stalked by a mysterious stranger the friendship is sorely tested. A great story full of tension and intrigue that keeps the reader interested and with know idea how the tale will devolope,a HEA ending depends where your sympathies lie. An easy five star for an author new to me,I will definitely be reading more of her work

    Psychological thriller about two so-called best friends who only lived together for a short while in college and reunite many years later for a roadtrip. One is recently divorced, the other suffering with fertility issues. Their relationship is odd, certainly not like best friends, and one of them is hiding a big secret. But all will be revealed...

    Some parts are a bit predictable but other twists surprised me and overall it's an enjoyable read that I finished quickly.

    Expect: champagne and gaslighting, reckless behaviour, double-crossing, and a very important journal from the past.
