    The most wicked game in the world of BDSM is back for another night of fulfilling your dirtiest fantasies! This year we see a few authors who are new to the world of Black Light, but we also have some familiar authors.

    We start of with an introduction by the trio that started Black Light and it is lovely to get a glimpse back into their lives. I really love Jaxson, Chase and Emma.

    Then it is showtime!

    Jennifer Bene - Unrestrained

    The first story in the Black Light Roulette boxset and it is an amazing start of the book. Silas and Bianca both hope that this night they might find the right partner to play with. Bianca is looking for a Dom strong enough to take her in hand and Silas wants a sub who won’t break when he unleashes his Sadistic side.

    What follows are three really intense, but also beautiful and scorching play scenes. There is an instant connection and chemistry between Bianca and Silas, but Bianca really makes Silas works for it. Iher sassy responses made me giggle.

    Connor and Gabriella have known each other for all their lives, but they meet again after 10 years apart. What I loved about this story is the connection between the characters and their realisation that both of them have grown up and aren’t the same person anymore.

    Connor is an experience Dom, while Gabriella is a total newbie who has no real idea what she is in for during this night. It is wonderful to see Gabriella take her first steps and embrace her submission. And some of the scenes made me laugh. Gabriella rolled some interesting scenes.

    Renee Rose- Forced

    Mariana only comes to the event to keep an eye on her younger sister and a bet. Victor wants Mariana the moment he sees her, What follows surprises both of them.

    The interaction and play between Mariana and Victor is very intense, raw and emotional which makes this story you will have trouble putting down and want to reread again and again.

    Sue Lyndon- Doctored

    Meet Hunter and Natalie. They has known each other for years. Natalie has been burned badly by the people she loved and trusted. She uses pain as a relief, but at Roulette you don’t have a choice. You play how the ball rolls. And the ball drops at some interesting plays.

    There is a great connection between Hunter and Natalie. Hunter know what Natalie needs and will do anything in his power to give her that. What I loved about this story is that everything is based on trust, but what do you do when you don’t trust?

    Maren Smith - Shameless

    This is a wonderful and very emotional story. Hadlee is still recovering from a horrible abusive relationship and uses the Roulette to come back and show her ex that she has moved on.

    Hadlee is so strong and brave and faces her fears this night with the help of Noah and Gareth. It was so beautiful to read when she gets to experience how it should be. I loved the description of the flogging, it was so erotic. The food play was gross and a turn on at the same time.

    My favorite scene was the intimate moment in the shower when both Hadlee and Gareth were so vulnerable.

    Alta Hensley - Edge

    Melinda was Dean’s submissive before she got married. She is back after her divorce, but in that process she lost her submission.

    What I loved about this story is that Dean take his time to reconnect and to gain her trust with Melinda before they start to play. Dean helps Melinda to get her confidence back and to believe in herself again. When they start to play, you get a beautiful and sexy scene.

    My favorite line in this story: “Free from my restraints, I never felt so tethered before in my life”.

    Measha Stone - Confessions

    The story of Grayson and Dani. Grayson has been acting like a big brother to Dani for years, but Dani isn’t a little girl anymore.

    Dani was a wonderful sassy character who know exactly what she is doing and how to push Grayson’s buttons. She is a bit of a brat, but Grayson does surprise her. He is not afraid to show her who is the boss.

    There is a very intense and hot pain play scene. And we get a wonderful inside into their changing dynamics.

    Maggie Ryan - Surrender

    Lots of giggles while reading this story about Marty and Owen. Marty has been topping from the bottom since day one. Owen has been watching on the sideline, but no more. He will show Marty what it is like to be submissive.

    It is great to see two strong characters battling it out together. Marty is forced to look deep inside herself which make for an emotional read.The shibari play was amy favorite. It was panty melting hot

    Jane Henry - Taken

    The last story of the boxset and it features Brayden and Della. They have a history together and they clash when they meet again.

    This night gives Brayden and Della the opportunity to get rid of the ghosts of the past and atone for what happend. What I loved about these two is that both of them admit that they made mistakes and the blame is not lying with one of them.

    It was a very emotional read full of healing and hope.

    I was so excited for the opportunity to read “Black Light Redux” with so many of my favorite authors. Although provided an advanced reader copy in exchange for my honest review, I pre-ordered my very own copy after simply reading the introduction! “Black Light Redux” is an originally themed, compilation which weaves each story together flawlessly. The anthology includes an overarching introduction as well as a conclusion. Every story is professionally written, fast paced and the heat level is off the charts hot… placing both Kindles (and unmentionables) at risk for spontaneous combustion!

    A brief overview of each story follows beginning with…

    Taken by Jane Henry: An incredibly emotional story about a second chance romance with amazing characterizations. I found myself totally invested in this couple’s journey and hoping that love would ultimately prevail. Can the past ever be forgotten… or forgiven? “Taken” is simply erotic romance at its best!

    Forced by Renee Rose: Wow, just wow! “Forced” is a deliciously decadent, darker story featuring a fantasy that is certain to test limits in a very good way.     Unrestrained by Jennifer Bene: Oh, my… it just wouldn’t be an erotic anthology without some scorching hot S/M! Jennifer Bene did a wonderful job of taking the characters subdued expectations and transforming them into high heat. Edgy and intense “Unrestrained” is a literal page turner. Silas is one scary dominant in an incredibly hot way!

    There is no doubt “Black Light Redux” is well worth the price and should be included in every erotic romance fan's library. I’ll be stalking this series from the beginning with “Black Light: Rocked (Black Light Series Book 1)” to work my way through all the previous adventures!

    After a fabulous introduction written by Jennifer and Livia we get to meet out first Redux couple Bianca and Silas, in Unrestrained written by Jennifer Bene. She starts us off easy before yanking you down the rabbit hole into fast, furious and smoking freaking hot! Bianca is a feisty, sassy and unsatisifed little sub until she meets her match in the unrelenting sadistic dom Silas. I loved the characters and the story, the was superb. Who knew playing the game could have such satisfying results. This story was so damn hot that by time I finished I'm pretty sure my panties were smoking!

    Next up is Brat by Livia Grant with our next couple Gabriella and Connor. The writing on this one was excellent, the story gripping although like Connor the first draw wasnt to my taste. After that concluded though, well strap me down and paint my arse pink, it was sexy and limit pushing to the max! I loved the character interaction and the connection between them.

    Next up is Forced by Renee Rose, with the next pair in the line-up Mariana and Victor. A new couple and a new kink to explore. This one goes down the darker road of kink but in a safe and sexy way that painted me intrigued. The characters were well thought out and had a great connection and the trust between them was extraordinary. Another great read in this anthology.

    Next up is Hunter and Natalie in Doctored by Sue Lyndon! This story was slower paced but it teased so well before the climax! A new to me kink that was different but not in bad way at all. It was intense but Sue eased us down gently. The characters were 3-dimensional and drove the story foward really well.

    Our next couple is Hadlee and Noah in Shameless by Maren Smith! Sometimes having a helping hand when you play is just what the Dom ordered and Garreth is more than willing to step up to plate. This one is a little darker than the others, going into the other sode of the D/s lifestyle when its not all fun and games. We see Hadlee regaining her sense of self and overcoming her fears, learning to be comfortable in her skin again and finding the trust and respect she deserves and needs. A tougher read with a huge impact.

    Stepping up to the roulette next is Melinda and Dean in Edge by Alta Hensley. Where there's history trust can be rebuilt. I loved Dean the naughty dom who breaks all the rules and his luscious little sub Melinda who needs a good scene and reintroduction to submission, Dean is just the dom to guide her. Great little story and I thought the intricacy of the scene was beautifully written and played out really well.

    Now we welcome our newest couple in Confessions by Maesha Stone, Dani and Gray! A bittersweet connection and history links these two characters before the scene even starts. It was a sexy, well written and interesting story. I enjoyed the bsnter and teasing between the characters before the sexual tension heated up Dani's skin and other ways too.

    Our next couple which feature in Surrender by Maggie Ryan are Marty and Owen. Wow this one was fun, lots of humour and plenty of sass from the woman who tops from the bottom. I loved how Owen takes it upon himself to teach the naughty sub how to truly submit. This was a hot one, it had great scenes and I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story. I thought the trust and connection built between the characters really gave alot to the story.

    Our last couple of the night are Della and Brayden in Taken by Jane Henry. A bitter sad past, lots of anger and a couple that fight against each other as they learn to fight for each other. I thought the backstory was well thought out and tied in really well with the characters as they are now, I enjoyed the powerful recconnection as they accept and forgive the past. A great last couple to read about in this anthology.

    Lastly the fabulous conclusion by Jennifer Bene and Livia Grant. Hoping there is another Roulette next year!

    Although I did receive an ARC of this book, I pre-ordered it long before that arrived for my library. Having read the original Black Light Roulette last year and found it to be an enjoyable read, there was no way this one was not going to be included in my library.

    Once again Jennifer and Livia have put together the exact group of authors to pull of this type of story line. I have been following Club Black Light from the beginning, and finding authors who can feel the flow of the back story line, while keeping the genre real, and keeping each story unique, I say well done to everyone involved. [If you haven't read the first Roulette, or the other stories in the Blacklight series, I encourage you to do so as I have yet to find one i did not find enjoyable, and I for one love the genre.]

    As you would expect Jennifer and Livia start the book months prior with the background of the club and the evolution off the roulette game.

    Unrestrained - Jennifer Bene
    What happens when a bratty masochist meets her match in a tough, yet observant sadist? Contrary to popular belief sadists have hearts, and no one writes about them better than Jennifer, as it takes gut to write about the degree of pain inflicted by a sadist and taken and needed by a masochist.. I love her style, she never disappoints.

    Brat - Livia Grant
    When things turn out the exact opposite as you expected. Ella has been fighting her entire life for respect and finds herself paired with a Dom from her life who has zero respect for her. There were so many ways this story could have gone, yet as always, Jennifer, in her usual style took this unlikely pair on a journey to discovering the truth about each other as one can only do in the midst of a BDSM club.

    Forced- Renee Rose
    I have never read a story by this lady that I did not like, and which did not give me at least me at least one occasion to draw a deep breath. And this story is no exception. Marianna joins the roulete as a means to keep watch on her sister and unfortunately she is a major control freak. She is paired with Victor who realises how she will never become submissive unless she is forced, no matter how much she my wish to relinquish control as a means to relax. Role play is a part of BDSM and this is what happens. I love Renee for the way she wrote this story, she handled this from first word to last. Brillant

    Doctored - Sue Lyndon
    Hunter and Natalie had a past history, and it wasn't pleasant, never lovers, never friends, just history.....yet..if only. If only just might be tonight. This was a older/younger story that In found to be such a touching story in a great many ways. Sue does such a fine job with this story showing what a raw deal Natalie got and how Hunter helped her find all then pieces to put them back together.

    Shameless-Maren Smith
    Love this lady, she can tell a story and this one is no exception.This is a tough tale to read in many ways as your heart will hurt for the humilation Hannah has gone through at the hands of her past Dom Ethan. Her first nigh back is for Roulette and her best friend Gareth [who has kept his feeling from her] is security that night to keep Ethan away. She is paired with Noah an amazing Dom who knows she and Gareth should be together finds ways for him to join in. Ethan stirs things up, and nothing goes as planned, yet we can expect nothing less from a Maren Smith story. I loved the ending and hope there is yet more to this story. Smashing!

    Edge - Alta Hemsley
    Love me some Hemsley! I discovered this woman and her books, own every one and can not get enough of her writing. This story is a small, yet perfect example of her style. Melinda and Dean...what might have been, what should have been. Melinda gave Dean up to become the "perfect" daughter and paid a terrible price. Now she's back, with no self esteem, and never expecting to see Dean, much less be paired with him. Yet Dean takes fate into his own hands, nudges the ball, and takes her in hand, in more ways than one, and one step at a time proves what should have been, will be. Loved this story.

    Confessions - Maggie Ryan
    Never read any of this ladies works, however after this story, I am now a fan. I just loved this story to bits. Dani has to be one of may favourite characters in this book. It is tough having three past Marines keeping you under their thumbs, even if they are doing it out of love. It is even harder when you are in love with one of them and think there is no way they could return the feelings. Bring on Roulette, and let the games begin. Reading how Dani handled these three, especially her man Grant, and watching it unfold, their feelings and overcoming everything that was holding them back made for an enjoyable read.

    Surrender -Maggie Ryan
    Again, a new author for me, and her books are now on my TBR list. I loved this story. Nothing better than seeing a bad arse Dom letting a little bit of a submissive wrap him right up in her heart. Owen is not even supposed to be playing in the Roulette as he believes he needs no one, no ties, just his ropes and his kink. However he can't stand seeing Maggie and he Dom of the night and he of course interferes and takes over...and well it only gets much more interesting from there. What a great story.

    Taken - Jane Henry
    When love is lost, who is to blame, and cam it ever truly be found again. Can you forgive and forget. Della and Brayden, so much hurt and pain, yet paired in roulette for the night. He wants to punish her and she wants to be punished for redemption. But to what end. can they find love at the end of it all, or will they wipe the slate clean of regrets and walk away again. This story is so well written, and with such heart from both Della and Bryden's point of view.

    The conclusion to the night is written by Livia and Jennifer tying up the loose ends from me of the additional action that happens during the stories, however there is at least one unanswered question I have from some well placed hints [Ms Grant might you have a story coming?] woven throughout, and I look forward to more from this series. It is indeed a pleasure when a series continues to maintain the standard it began with.
