Beautifully broken...
FABULOUS ending to one of my favorite series this year ❤️❤️❤️ Blake and Samantha are two broken souls, each having endured pain and sadness that could conquer even the strongest of hearts. No matter how unlikely their relationship might seem given the unconventional circumstances in which they meet, they are whole heartedly, 100% meant for one another. Even though the development of their relationship was an uphill battle, being with them on their journey was pure bliss. I love Blake and Samantha as a couple. Their transition in getting to know one another was not easy, but the comfort and peace they bring to their sad souls is magical. Natasha carries us through this love story. She breaks us down piece by piece and puts our hearts back together stronger and better than before. She makes us believe in love, we believe in letting our guard down and accepting love and friendship in the most unexpected places. My emotions were all over place with this romance. There were tears, an ugly cry or two and smiles that lit up my face like a Christmas tree. My heart swelled with pride and joy as this beautiful couple healed each other in a way no one else could. This story is about enduring the unthinkable, it’s about heartache and healing. It’s about opening yourself up to new possibilities when you think all hope is lost. I'm sad this series is complete, but happy to say that my heart is officially full.

OMG!!!! This story blew my mind!!! It was so much better than I could’ve expected. This is definitely my FAVORITE of the three books in this series!!

I was so excited to read this book when I found out it was going to be Blake and Samantha’s story. I’ve never met two characters who deserved a HEA more than these two.

This story was full of emotion but also love. I was afraid this was going to be kind of like a retelling of the first two books in this series but just from Blake’s POV adding in some new stuff from Samantha, but I was so wrong. Yes we do get some overlap in the story but this book felt like a completely different story. This book actually took me by surprise, there were things revealed in this story that I wasn’t expecting AT ALL!!!! I loved that!!!

I do feel this book was the more emotional story of the three. Just what is revealed and what Blake’s back story is, my heart broke on many instances. You will want tissues with you when you read this book (actually the whole series). I felt the flow and pace of this story was perfection!! This is definitely a slow burn between Samantha and Blake, but it is the ONLY way this story could be told. I love watching their friendship slowly build into something more. Taking both of them by surprise. I haven’t read that many books by Natasha Madison, but after reading this series, I plan to go back and read all her books and she has a fan for life.

Broken Love Story is the third and final book in her Love Series. These books can be read as standalones, but I really wouldn’t recommend them. You should read these books in order. This book is told in Dual POV. In this story we follow Blake and Samantha. Blake is Hailey’s (heroine from book 1) brother, who many years ago lost the love of his life. And Samantha is a Widow who has had her entire life turned upside down by one phone call. When tragedy strikes these two, neither one could’ve expected what would happen and how one lie could change their lives forever. I don’t want to say much more about this storyline because this is one that needs to unravel for each reader. Just trust me you will WANT to read this book!!!

I loved almost every secondary character in this series. I loved how the secondary character then turned into primary characters and you couldn’t help but root for them all. We get to see a different side to some of the secondary characters in this story and let me tell you…it wasn’t pretty!!! (Eric’s family) Overall most of the characters were easy to love. Especially the kids of this series!! They absolutely melted my heart.

I am sad to see this series come to an end, but I am so happy with the way it ended!!! I couldn’t have asked for more!!

This is one I will read again and again. I would 100% recommend this book to all readers. You will get swept up in this story and these characters lives. 1-click this book as soon as it comes out!!! You won’t be sorry.

Broken Love Story may be my favorite novel in this series. I had been anticipated Samantha and Blake’s story since the epilogue of Perfect Love Story. This book was beautiful, Samantha and Blake both had so much to overcome, so many broken parts to find a way to piece together. Theirs was a healing journey, and I loved that they were given the time they deserved to recover before they explored what they could have together.

Unlike most other reviewers, I found Samantha heartbreaking in the first two novels of this series. For as bad as things were for Hailey, they were a thousand times worse for Sam. I was so happy to find out we were getting her story and it was with someone as wonderful as Blake. Sam continually impressed me with her refusal to let all the things crashing down crush her under their weight. She let herself take a beat to feel the pain, then collected her bearings and showed her girls that she was stronger and better than anything thrown at her.

Blake was the perfect counterpoint to Samantha. He was equally broken but hadn’t quite let himself learn to feel again, whereas Samantha knew she needed to work through all that pain to come out the other side. He was such a pillar of strength for her in her weakest moments and in doing that he allowed himself the vulnerability he needed to open his heart again. It was quite lovely to see him begin to shed the shroud he’d wrapped himself in when his first love died.

Broken Love Story was more of a slow burn than the first two books in this series. The pacing was perfect though, any faster and it would have felt forced. They both needed the time they put in getting to know one another and begin to overcome all the trauma they’d faced. I’m a huge sucker for getting to witness a character’s healing arc, and this book delivered big time in that aspect. Sam and Blake picked up both their own and each other’s pieces and fit them together to form a connection that was far deeper and stronger than anything they’d experienced before.

I do have some wishes for Broken Love Story. There were a few places where the dialogue was just bizarre, I think Ms. Madison was going for sweeping statements of love, but they were so out of character they came off stilted and disjointed. I also had a few moments in the flashbacks where the writing felt forced and awkward like there was a split between making them an aside to the reader and just the character reliving the memories.

Broken Love Story is the third book in Natasha Madison’s Love series. These books are interconnected standalones and do not need to be read in order. They share a timeline, and the scenes involving characters from more than one book appear in each book, for the most part. Broken Love Story is written in dual first-person perspective, narrated by Samantha and Blake.

This was, hands down, my favorite book in this series. And Blake has cemented himself as one of my all time favorite heroes. When I started this series, I felt like Eric’s original wife should have been the first part of this puzzle, but having Samantha finish out the series was perfect. This book tied up every last loose end and was the perfect end cap to this trilogy.

I liked that although this book took place at the same time as the first two books, this felt like a whole new story. We finally got Samantha’s point of view and it did not disappoint. What Eric did to her and their two daughters was atrocious, but what his family tried to do was even worse. Once Samantha decided she wasn’t going to sit back and let Eric’s family take the reins, she became one of the strongest characters of this series. She fought for her girls and recognized she needed to show them how to pick themselves up and live.

I wasn’t ready for Blake. He was honestly just a good guy. He saw what nobody else saw when he looked at Samantha and decided he was going to help her. They both had some hurdles to get over, and I loved how their relationship developed over time. It started with texts and calls and moved to a friendship where they could both lean on each other and finally evolved into the kind of love every person dreams of having.

This was a much more emotional book. Between Blake’s past, Samantha’s ex-in laws and the effect everything had on Izzy, it was easy to get emotional. But this was a story of healing for everyone involved. I loved Hailey’s actions at the end and loved getting to see Hailey and Samantha finally meet. This ended the series perfectly.

If there were 2 more deserving people, of a HEA, Sam and Blake are it.

As if finding out your husband had died in a car crash, leaving you a widow and a single mother to two young girls, wasn’t bad enough, imagine finding this out from his ‘other wife’ someone he married 6 months ago, without either of you knowing about his ‘other’ life.

Blake lost the love of his life to cancer 6 years ago and hasn’t been able to move on since.

Can 2 broken halves make a whole? It seems they can, and can help mend each other’s hearts along the way.

Sam and Blake meet when he and Crystal go to confront the woman who was married to Hayley’s husband, Eric (Urgh even writing his name makes my blood boil), the woman he has two daughters with and who he’s been married to for years. Sam doesn’t know how to deal with life after Eric’s death, she wants to break down, scream and cry and lose it about the man who betrayed her and broke her heart on his deathbed, but she has to keep it together for her family, until the only family she has known, start to turn on her. Blake becomes her only friend, the one who is always at the end of a phone, or is just a few hours drive away when things are falling apart. To Blake, Sam is a friend until she becomes the second chance at a future, he didn’t think he had.

Wow! What an end to an amazing rollercoaster ride of emotions, series. I’ve never, laughed, cried, swooned and got so angry I almost threw my kindle reading a series, ever. This book has everything, a surprise you won’t see coming and so much heart, your own will burst.

Natasha Madison is always my go to, I know she will bring her A game every time and this was no different, she smashed my expectations out of the park and obliterated my heart along the way, but as always, put it back together a little more fuller.

I really don't know how she does it. When I start to read a Natasha Madison story I know I'm going to go through lots of emotions. I laugh, I cry, I get angry, I don't swoon. So many feelings come out and this book is NO exception.
I love that these two were able to find and mend each other. They are meant to be.
