B Positive: An Enemies To Lovers Paranormal Romance (Blood Song Duet Book 1) Kindle Edition

4.1 out of 5 stars 236 ratings

If Damon mothertruckin’ Salvator taught me anything, it’s that vampires are deadass sexy.

Also filthy rich.

And while bartending pays the bills—mostly—and putting dickhead customers in their place feeds my soul, I’ve got my immortality to plan.

That’s why tonight I’m waltzing into the vampire king of Laurel Cove’s fancy-ass gala, finessing my way past his big, dumb guards, and swiping a priceless diamond right from under his nose. I’ve got it all figured out.

Except I don’t. I know fuck-all about this world. And I, Eden Vaughn, bartender, cat-burglar, and baby vamp would much rather stay in my comfortable human life than deal with the lies, blood, and corruption of this one. I have no idea what I’m walking into. Or that King Julian has no intention of letting me leave.

B Positive is the first in the Blood Song duet and it will end on a cliffy. This is an enemies-to-lovers MF romance with plenty of cursing and sexy times. If any of that offends you, I mean, I warned you, so…

    Arc Participant

It made me laugh, made me angry along with the protagonist, made me crave some ice water to cool down and I just couldn’t put it down until my body forced me to go to sleep for at least eight hours.

It has vampires, shifters, mates, and some lies that will certainly come and bite some people in the ass! Eden’s story still has more to come and I’m already craving the next book. Which kinda sucks since this is a brand new book. But I’ll endeavor through this and await that special email that’ll let me know of the upcoming book. 🥰

I was enjoying the story and the hilarious humor up to the end when it suddenly became the typical immature I'm suddenly angry and reject you plot. It could have played out better if that bit was left out now instead it turned me off the story to see it following the usual road all the others also chose. I get you want a dramatic cliffhanger but that wasn't it. It would have been better to leave it at the friends "accident" and pick up for book 2, instead Eden has to go all teen agnst and that side of her really doesn't suit her personality.

A funny vampire romance with a snarky female and a growly male.

I enjoyed this tale involving Eden, a newbie vamp, and Julian, King of Laurel Cove vampires. What’s not to like about a woman who has no clue what it means to be a vampire and that she’s the fated mate of a king. And to make things more difficult - Julian is making her frustrated by refusing her certain benefits between mates that would bring undeniable passion and release.

The story also has some secondary characters that will make you laugh as they offer their support to the newbie. But be prepared for a cliffhanger that will leave you anxious.

I liked it but I didn’t. There was some funny self dialogue but her overall attitude was horrible. She’s rude he’s evasive and sucks at explaining anything. I absolutely hated the cliffhanger end. I just can’t get over how hateful she is there’s nothing cute about how she talks to her mate. He just sucks overall with his communication and knows she’s a new vamp who didn’t get the education from her sire. I don’t think I can bring myself to read the next book.

    And I'm mad about it.

Characters: On point. Plot: Properly enthralling. Heat: Puts Hades to shame.

So why am I mad? That ending!! Holy...what!? I can't even explain without spoiling it. Just, ugh! I really like the spin on these vampires. They're different, original, without being unfathomable. Julian had me back and fourth, he's an excellent character that makes you dance on the line of frustration and fancy. Eden is the same way really.

She has me AGGRAVATED right now. That ending made me screech. Hurry up October!

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting take on the vampire genre

This was an interesting take on a vampire storyline. We learn more about this world as the book continues and it has a lot of differences when compared to other books.

I felt that a lot of this book was having the reader learn at the same time that the female main character was learning things so I could definitely relate to her frustrations and questions.

Still figuring out how I feel about the male main character, we shall see how he redeems himself. I really like some of the other characters and hope we get to see a bit more of them.

The ending didn’t go how I thought it would so it will be interesting to see where the author takes this story.
