Brittney Sahin is a Wall Street Journal and Amazon Top 5 bestselling author of romantic suspense novels.

She began writing at an early age with the dream to be a published author before the age of 18. Although academic pursuits (and, later, a teaching career) interrupted her aspirations, she never stopped writing--never stopped imagining.

It wasn't until her students encouraged her to follow her dreams that Brittney said goodbye to Upstate New York in order to start a new adventure in the place she was raised: Charlotte, North Carolina. Here, she decided to take her students' advice and begin to write again.

In 2015, she published her first novel, Silenced Memories (The Safe Bet). When she is not working on upcoming novels, she spends time with her family. She is a proud mother of two boys, and a lover of suspense novels, coffee, and the outdoors.

    Sexy, smart and thrilling, this plot has twists and turns that seamlessly evolve. Start to finish, the mystery and the romance are on point. I will definitely be rereading this again.
    It can work as a stand-alone with an HEA. I recommend the first book, at least. It's a good story itself and it adds a little more depth. It's not necessary, as the characters are all fleshed out... but I still recommend it.
    This book gets an easy 5-star review from me based on the heat between H & h, the fabulous plot (red herrings and familial ties), the details in the characters behaviors and the overall story.
    This is a beautiful example of what a mystery-suspense-romance should be.

    I cant say it enough! Brittney Sahin knows how to write chemistry! I absolutely LOVE these books!! You can read them as a stand alone, but why do that when there are four in the Hidden Truths Series!! Do your self a favor and get them all!! I literally have read this book twice now. I purchased the Hidden Truths series and read it in less than a week. I am going back to re read them because i am afraid i missed something when i read them the first time. I was so excited to read it, i was reading so fast because i couldn't wait to see what happened!! I cant wait to see what more that Mrs. Sahin comes out with! She has quickly gone to the top of my favorite authors list!!!

    Aiden O’Connor was briefly introduced during book 1. This time the action centers on him and Ava Daniels.

    Aiden former Marine, tormented by his time in Afghanistan, current co-owner of an Irish Pub in Boston.
    Ava is a biochemist working on a top secret project for the President, she discovers her team has suddenly gone missing and their entire lab and work has disappeared.
    Ava fears her mentor and lab director is in danger. A google search for his life outside the lab & relatives leads her to Aiden’s pub.

    Despite his initial rejection and protests he agrees to help her. What Ava thought to be a hunt for a missing person quickly escalates to a desperate desire for truth, and staying alive.

    Aiden goes to his former squad for help, Michael, Jake & Connor.
    The search for answers leads them back to DC and a past Aiden wanted to forget and was never able to let go.
    Ava surprises herself and everyone else when she takes a stand. Lives are on the line, she has to find Henry fast.

    I’m going to stick it out with this author since I am late hopping into reading her stories. This is only the second book of hers that I’ve read and I am hoping that once I get into her Stealth Op series I will see something more in her writing. This book wasn’t bad, but it seemed to lack depth in both the plot and the characters. Aiden and Ava meeting and falling for each other in a week was a stretch for me and I’m a die hard romantic who always wants an HEA. Again, not a bad book, but it was okay and I finished it so that says it had something worth reading.

    Book 2 in the Hidden Truths series brings together Aiden and Ava. She works for the Government in the CSAC, and he is a bar owner who happens to be the nephew of a coworker of hers that goes missing, along with all of her lab. Ava tracks down Aiden in the hopes of finding Henry, and the two of them find themselves running for their lives. They team up with Michael (from book 1), who gives them his computer expertise in tracking down answers, as well as help to uncover the corruption they have found themselves in the middle of.
    Non stop adrenaline throughout the book, with some steamy romance thrown in. A well written book that leaves you wanting to know how they will get themselves out of the crosshairs and back to living their simple lives.
