Thanks to his best friend Charlie, he has eyes on her and his able to put his mind at ease with the knowledge that she has returned to her family home with her grandmother. Now he just has to fast track his plans so that he will be able to provide for and take care of his girls. So the next time he sets eyes on Mia, he will not hesitate to claim and mark her as his.

    Mia and Nana has finally returned to their family home after five long and miserable years in Mexico. Only to find out that they are about to loose their home, if they aren't able to pay the taxes pass due and other debts that have accumulated over the years. But with all the problems Mia faces, she can't help but to think of Walker and the promise he made her that he has yet to keep. Then to find out that her dad has been lying to her all this time and only just finding out the reason Walker went to prison. Only for him to come and claim her where it all began.

    Will they be able to lay all their fears, hopes and dreams on the table, to build a brighter better future together?

    Can they unite to overcome all the current trials and tribulations they face, as well as conquer their enemies?

    Hmmm, I have mixed feeling on this one... Usually this author is at least a 4 star read for me. Her stories aren't too complex but are full of alpha men, their lady loves and over the top hotness leading to an enjoyable read.

    While this book had all of that I felt a disconnect from the story itself as I thought there were large gaps of the plot that were left unconnected. Also, we have a very quick intro and then boom, they are back together and fully involved. Felt like we missed a chunk of details.

    Didn't really enjoy the sinister side to the plot either. It lent a dark romance element that felt out of place with the rest of the story.

    There were also some grammatical and spelling errors that caught my attention several times and took me out of the story. I thought with the long delay to release that this was disappointing.

    These are just my thoughts after finishing. You may feel differently. Just wasn't what I expected. Hoping her next release will fully satisfy...

    This is a super sweet and incredibly sexy read.

    Walker first met Mia when she was fourteen and even knowing it was wrong he knew she was special and that his heat had just found its reason to beat. He waited four years until she was about to turn eighteen to make his move, but the next day it all falls apart. We pick up five years later when Walker is released from prison after taking the fall for Mia’s dad.

    Finally they can be together, innocent Mia is back in the only real home she has ever had, after the death of her father she’s left Mexico and taken her Nana with her to build a new life. It’s then that Walker reappears in her life the love they have for one another is stronger than ever. She’s his cricket and he will do anything it takes to keep her happy and save the house she loves.

    This book has everything that you could want, great story, drama, action and lots of heat. It’s a 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 read.

    There is a fine line between getting a hot Alpha male and a foul mouthed creep and this was too much of the latter for me. The kidnap scene fizzled to nothing and then the next ten years were over in a rushed few pages. Sorry but not a good read imo.
