    Laney moved back home after she found her fiance having sex with another woman. Shouldn't she be more upset? But, when she gets home she remembers why she left to attend a college so far from home. Her best friend who she had fallen in love with.

    Austin is excited that his best friend is back in town and that she's no longer engaged. He never liked the guy. Only he just realized he doesn't want her with any other guy. When did he fall in love with his best friend?

    I loved this book, but I hated when it ended. I could have a lot more Laney and Austin. Who doesn't love a sexy man on a motorcycle? Hope Ford transitioned them from best friends to lovers seamlessly. Their insecurities about messing up their relationship. Austin and his protective jealousy. I loved Laney's dad.

    From the beginning you could feel the chemistry between Laney and Austin. Even his date could feel it. The characters are wonderful and their story is sweet and hot. Looking forward to reading more from Hope Ford.

    First, let me say that the cover of this book is in my top five favorite covers ever! I don’t generally purchase a book based on the cover alone. But I would have with this one, if Hope Ford wasn’t already an automatic get. It’s a beautiful cover and the models are so gorgeous and realistic. Hope, you did a perfect job on this one!

    Second, the story was wonderful. Austin is top five book boyfriend material. Woosh! Laney is smart and beautiful and she is a little banged up after a rough breakup with her fiancé. Best friend Austin, is there to pick up the pieces. And then some. But Laney knows Austin is a commitment phobe and goes out of his way to communicate that when he starts dating anyone. Laney can’t and won’t lose her heart to him. She can’t lose her best friend. Austin, it’s your move. What are you going to do about Laney?

    I always have mixed feelings about Hope Ford's books. I love the premise of her stories and she always creates dynamic, engaging characters that I want to spend time with. The stories are beautifully plotted and I love the fact that I can read them in less than a half hour. The problem is that Ford recently started writing in a very passive voice. I don't know if she has always done this and it's just now starting to bug me or if she is in a hurry to crank out more books and is no longer making another editing pass at these. It's a shame because she's a skilled author. It would be wonderful to see her reach her full potential
