    When I started reading this book, I thought it was about me...except my name isn't Agnes, I don't live in Alaska and I only wish I had a mountain man being all alpha-hot with me! Agnes is my soul sister, or I guess I should say, my clumsy buddy. I related to her constant streak of 'bad luck' and how the resident of Matrimony wouldn't let her forget her mishaps. Birk was all drool-worthy hotness at its finest. His explanation on why he constantly kissed Aggie's scar on her shoulder made me melt. I want to book a one-way ticket to a small town in Alaska and climb a mountain man! This book has it all-laughs, mishaps, sweetness, combustible sex and a HEA. I can't wait to read the other two mountain men stories of Rowan and Ash.

    Romance genre: Mountain man

    Plot: Poor Aggie just wants a vacation, mostly to get away from her life, where she suffers from one accident after another. Her bad luck follows her to Alaska though, where her luck finally changes when she meets Birk. Birk falls hard and now has to convince Aggie that they're right for each other.

    Character development: I love that he fell for her right away, and saw through the "curse" (even though she really was extraordinarily clumsy). The two characters complemented each other well, as they both had insecurities about the way that they looked and the way others perceived them. The story flowed well, with little outside conflict and a focus on the developing relationship rather than any other action-based drama.

    I fell really hard with this story. Birk and Agnes together become a really beautiful love story. Birk is amazing and you love him from the beginning. Agnes and her story tore at my heartstrings.     What's not to love about this book? Poor Agnes can't seem to have any luck. She's a very sweet woman on a streak of bad things happening to and around her. They're ridiculously funny. But that bad luck leads her to meeting Birk, and that's the best luck a woman could ask for. Birk is protective and loving and cherishes her just the way she is.

    I'll definitely be devouring the next books in the series. If they're as fun to read as this one I know I'll be one happy reader!
