All Bark, No Bite Kindle Edition
My new neighbor does not like my dog. If you don’t like Boomer, then you don’t like me. End of story.
I guess that’s not much of a deterrent for Anderson, though. He’s all bark and never misses an opportunity to complain. About everything. Sometimes it’s Boomer. Sometimes it’s my music. Sometimes it’s my alarm clock. How does he even hear it? Is it my fault I need something akin to an air raid siren so I can wake up in the morning?
It would be a lot easier if Anderson wasn’t the sexiest man I’ve ever met and didn’t make me feel things I never have before. It doesn’t matter because nothing can happen between us. Whoever becomes a dog dad to my Boomer needs to love him as much as I do.
That’s not Anderson. He’s a grump who only cares about himself. He would make the worst dog dad there ever was and he definitely doesn’t want me. Until he proves me wrong.
ANDERSON
Moving into a new place should have been a fresh start for me, but it’s turned into a nightmare. I can’t get any work done because the dog next door won’t stop barking. Books don’t write themselves and my publisher is starting to breathe down my neck.
Reese doesn’t seem to care at all that her dog is at fault for my writer’s block and my annoyance. I don’t think she even listens when I complain, and it doesn’t seem to change anything either. My ex was selfish and lacked all self-awareness and it’s why we aren’t together anymore. Now I’m living next door to another woman who is exactly the same; just my luck.
If only I could ignore how much I want to pull Reese against me while letting all my aggravations fall to the floor. Reese’s beauty and the way her body calls to me like a siren’s song can’t be denied. I have to resist her because no good come from giving into the feelings I have for her.
She’s flippant and only cares about herself. Until I find out I’m wrong and just how important Boomer is to her. Now that I can see her for who she is, she better watch out. I’m coming for her, and I’ll make her mine.
**18+ If you like alpha heroes and an insta-love story that is sweet and spicy but isn’t necessarily simple, then this is for you. No cheating with a guaranteed HEA. It is a standalone but is related to my Denver Family series (Banks Ink., Suburban Outcasts and Higgins Security). Meet Reese in Finding His Shooting Star (Suburban Outcasts Book 3) and Building His Home (Banks Ink. Book 8).**
When it comes to love, everybody has hard limits. Lines that can't be crossed. Boxes that must be ticked. For the heroes and heroines in this series, there's just one limit, line, and box: "Love me, love my dog." (or dogs!)

About the author

Ember Davis loves alpha heroes with a range of emotions, but a strong sense of how to take care of their women. She loves her heroines from all walks of life, just like her heroes, and she wants them to be real and relatable. Her heroines tend to be sassy, opinionated and smart.
Ember is a stay at home mom of two who recently refound her love of books and all things romance and is so glad that she did. She’s always been creative, but writing and creating stories that she would love to read satisfies the dreams she had as a little girl. She loves butterflies, the color purple and enjoying time with her family.
Pssst…it’s totally a pen name, but everything above is 100% true.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 3, 2022Since Anderson has already written several successful books, it should not be so difficult for him to create a new novel. His moving into a new apartment could possibly help, but the surroundings seem to be making it harder to concentrate because of a neighbor’s dog that likes to bark way too much during the day. Although he definitely appreciates some of the personal traits when it comes to the animal’s owner, other aspects about Reese are very frustrating. Their latest confrontation connected to issues that irritate Anderson has Reese hoping for a compromise concerning Boomer and his barking, and during their discussions some unknown truths come out.
The Love At First Bark series starts off with a story about a couple and the dog that looks like it could keep the individuals from ever being in a relationship. Reese got herself a pet because of how lonely she was upon returning to her apartment after work. Though Anderson likes dogs, his neighbor’s canine is not letting him focus enough to write a book which has a deadline. The interactions of these two at first is how people often do respond to a situation, and I was hopeful that if facts were learned, then opinions would change. Ember Davis fills the storyline for Reese and Anderson with several trials for them to overcome, and I kept wondering what resolutions they would eventually consider. The passionate moments in the story are especially heated, yet they are also packed with lots of caring actions. ALL BARK, NO BITE is a delightful start to a series which entwines humans and animals in a compelling romance. Rating – 4.5 Stars
- Reviewed in the United States on June 6, 2022A cute romance read. Anderson is a writer who hasn’t had a luck with all the barking his neighbor dog does. Reese is the owner of said dog but is trying everything to solve the problem. When he makes a suggestion it sets them on an unexpected delightful course. This was a sweet, feel good romance read with great characters and an easy to read storyline that doesn’t disappoint.

- Reviewed in the United States on July 2, 2022Anderson is fed up with his neighbor, Reese's dog barking all day when he is home alone and Anderson is trying to write. When he goes to confront like in the past this time feels different and he sees below her surface to find just what he needs. This is a sweet tale.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 5, 2022I loved this sexy love story. Though Reese was sunny all the time, you could feel the loneliness inside of her. Her and Anderson deserve and completes each other. I especially liked the fact there weren't many characters in the book to complicate the relationship. Not too long of a book which gets to the point quickly.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 13, 2022This one was a little slow to start, but once the grumpy one settled down, it really moved quickly. I love the dog puns.
