- Reviewed in the United States on January 19, 2021Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI really enjoyed this series, Coming Home To The Grove. Each story was unique, with the common thread being the town of Knox and the people who come to find a home there.
Jason and Karly have a great story. Jason is back home, injured while serving in the military. Karly is the physical therapist who pushes him to work hard to get his leg as close to healed as possible. There is a tinge of the forbidden wanting between the patient and his healthcare giver and a whole bunch of delicious slow-burn thoughts. These feelings serve to push Jason to heal and to be jealous because he wants what he can’t have. Karly suffers along with him, desperately attempting to keep a level of professionalism between them.
Of course, there is steamy a happily ever after, but it sure is fun trying to figure out how these two make it happen. I highly recommend this book and the entire series.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 3, 2021Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI really like Hope Fords stories and this one is a good not so instalove. However, research is key in writing. 1. The character is in physical rehab. Nurses don’t do PT. The physical therapist does. They have to get a doctorate now to practice. So you could easily made the nurse a PT and explained the debt. 2. Calling a nurse ‘Nurse so and so stopped in the 70’s. Nurses go by their first name. All the way up to the CNO. No patients call nurses by their last name in the US. Now if this character was a PT then they could be known as Dr. so and so. 3. I won’t even go into the military person in a private rehab for an official injury. 4. Nurses are paid well. If we take a day off we have paid time off. So the premise that people aren’t paid makes no sense if they are off. I won’t even go into the finances that no hospital is paying an employee time and a half to work someone’s regular shift.
I really like the writing style. I just wish the author actually researched. The romance is right. Just research.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 17, 2023Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThis is a review on all six. I love the storyline of each book. I do like how there is a little piece of an epilogue on the other characters. I do wish there was another book that continues all of there stories just a little more and not to far in the future. Also is there a story with Kyle?
- Reviewed in the United States on June 14, 2021Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThis was a pretty good series. I love happily ever afters. This last book about Jason the youngest Keller brother who was injured in the military. His greatest fear was not being able to work on the Ranch and help his brothers out. But Nurse Berry showed him no mercy she pushed him because she knew he could do it. I love nurses like that. I loved the epilogues it gave us a glimpse of everyone’s ending story😁
- Reviewed in the United States on January 1, 2021Format: KindleVerified PurchaseJason falls for the hard nose PT nurse even when she isn't his therapist. She challenges him to push himself to recover. Karly is attracted to charismatic Jason but know she needs to stay away but when she is hired as his private therapist it is harder. These two circle each other throughout Jason's recovery until he is finished and they can have their chance in this sweet tale.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 3, 2021Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThis was a great sweet love story! Jason and Karly were a great match. The evolution of their relationship was wonderful. This story shows how easy it is for misunderstandings to come about and how important good communication is. The ending was very pleasant and the HEA came along with epilogues to finish putting the pieces together. I would definitely recommend this book.

This was a very straight forward romance, no real drama or conflict. I would have liked more sweet moments between the two.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

4.0 out of 5 stars Short but sweet
Format: KindleVerified PurchaseA short story. Characters perhaps worth exploring in more depth. Interesting set up but all a bit rushed and formulaic.

3.0 out of 5 stars Karly and Jason
Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThis one was better than the previous one in this series. Jason is an injured soldier and Karly is a nurse pushing him hard on his exercises. This story is a slow burner and has a lovely epilogue
