    Braden’s arrival at the string of strip clubs he and his family own has him on edge. A hurried phone call from his father finds both of them there to gain intel on a possible lead regarding the threat to Annora.

    What he didn’t except sitting in the VIP section watching the next dancer to take to the stage was finally seeing his mate about to take her clothes off.

    Tahlia has been an agent for the council for the past five years. This assignment has been so far out of her comfort zone she’s been struggling but if the information she received is correct hopefully it will be over soon.

    When she spots Braden in the VIP section her lioness pushes forward, she wants out. But Tahlia pushes her back they can’t be distracted by the sexy stranger, there’s a lot riding on this mission.

    But once in that stage it’s pretty much out of her hands when Braden’s roar echoes through the club. Him jumping up on stage and throwing her over his shoulder and whisking her away seals it.

    What he’s not expecting though is the badass that’s his mate. If they want to complete the mission there going to have to put a hold on the actual mating. But that doesn’t mean Braden can’t mark her in other ways.

    Loved the banter between these two and the sexual chemistry was off the freaking charts. The storyline and the continuity was spot on. You felt engaged from page. A must read for the lovers of the Shifter genre or for anyone who loves a damn good romance read.

    It packs a punch. ❤️

    I really wanted to like this one, but alas I think the 3 stars I gave was being generous.
    Unlike the first book this one took me a while to get into to read (I started this back in 2015 when I purchased the book and only just now got around again to try and finish it).
    I think what annoys me more about this book is there still isn't much backstory to the main characters. All we know about Braden is exactly what was already explained in the first book (he's the middle triplet, recently learned about his sister, and now works with his father to find who is determined to hurt his sister). When it comes to Tahlia we know about the same amount of information.
    Then after Tahlia's mission is complete we get left kind of wondering what will happen next? Do Braden and Tahlia work things out so she can stay working with the council? From the way the author wrote a little about the pride it seems like they are more stuck in their ways including staying and mating within their pride. Was there any kind of backlash or repercussions from her mating a bear?

    This book was way better than the first McMahon Clan (Alasdair) book. Braden knows how to treat his mate from the start. He is a perfect match for her. He is not intimidated by her strength and they keep each other on their toes. I'm happy Tahlia didn't give him too much of a hard time about the mating. She accepted he was her mate and made concessions accordingly. I'm moving on to Camden's story (the last triplet). I hope Carrick, their father, gets a story and another chance at mating. I would also be interested in Damien's story, a dragon council enforcer.

    Wow another fast paced shifter read, Braden knows it’s finally time to face the danger against his sister and niece, but when he comes face to face with his mate in none other that one of his clubs, he’s not at all happy. Tahlia is one of the best undercover agents working for the shifter council, so when councilman McMahon asks for her help she offers it, unbeknown to her it would lead her straight to her future.
    Nice plot, story and characters characters. Again a quick read but you get the details needed. Lots of angst, some hot sex scenes, but also the story continue throughout the series regarding the danger to Annora and now her child. Each book is individual but connect to the others in the series. Would recommend to shifter lovers.
