    Summary:
    Camden McMahon has stepped up to the plate, helping his father search for the man who wishes their family harm. He’s more determined than ever after seeing the recent changes in his family with his brothers’ matings. He’ll even risk collaboration with a witch coven, if it means the danger will be eliminated.     Camden and Selene were amazing. Camden is the youngest of the triplets, and the one we knew the least about. He’s also considered the “baby” of the brothers. I liked the he was supportive of his brothers, and sweet to their mates, while anticipating his own mating. Selene is by far my fave heroine so far. She was a witch! What more do I have to say? Lol. But seriously, she was sweet, strong, and willing to give her life for those she loved, especially Camden. Together, they were steamy hot! Their dream mating was crazy awesome, and added a lot more anticipation for the real-life meeting. Who wouldn’t want a love so powerful it causes lightning and earthquakes? This couple was also a bit kinkier than the previous couples, and it was hot. Overall, it was a novella that wouldn’t let me go until the last word. I do wish the culmination of the situation with Channing was a little more drawn out and had more detail. Still, I really enjoyed Camden and Selena, but I’m pumped for Carrick’s story. So many possibilities, and I’m ecatatic to see him get his own HEA. <3

    I think Camden and Selene are my favourite couple out of all the McMahon Clan.

    It’s the magical side that drew me in. The connection between these two and knowing fate had a plan in their future. No matter what they were destined to find each other.

    With Selene’s powers getting stronger as her marking and mating with Camden continues you get a feel of the forces at work, it’s bigger than just a normal shifter bond. These two, especially Selene is stronger with him by her side.

    When Selene’s summoning spell puts Camden’s life in harm the true feelings and love she has for him knows no bounds.

    A must read, and again the continuity nails it.

By needing to learn how to work together, and having to establish trust between the shifter community and the witches this story had all the action, tension and drama to be an excellent read. Being right there in the thick of the drama going on with the merging of Camden and Selene and their families, and Selene discovering ever greater powers the love shown is extremely touching and very sexy.     It was 30% into the book before Camden and Selene actually met. Although they dreamed about each other and marked each other through the dream, I guess that was a different twist. For the most part, this story is about getting ready to face off with the dark practitioner and Annora's step father. So at times it gets boring. Apparently Carrick (triplet's father) will have another chance at mating, his story is next. I hope Damien (the dragon) gets a story as well.

    I absolutely ADORE Rochelle Paige's Shifters. Each story is about a different couple (this is Camden & Selene's story) but there is an overall story arc through the whole series, which culminates in this final installment. (There will be a 4th book, about the patriarch of the bear clan, Carrick, though, and I'm looking forward to him getting his HEA!)

    Camden & Selene's initial IRL meeting was quite fun & I really enjoyed how it came about! I like the introduction of a new supernatural element in the lives of these furry heroes. *grin* For the most part I got a kick out of the flow of the story as well. However, my one complaint would be the pacing and lack of detail in the final battle. The whole story was leading up to this epic face-off & then BOOM it was just over. I might see more detail when I do a re-read, but my initial reaction was that it felt rushed.

    Despite that, overall, this is still one of my favorite series & shifter-worlds. : )

    Wow Camden’s story is the best of the 3, his mate comes in the form of Selene. A witch whose coven have intervened after hearing some news regarding Channing and the dark practitioners he’s using to get to Annora and her family. Camden and Selene and not only fated mates but prophesied, they’re going to change things together but will they live HEA????
    Great story, plot, and characters. All the family are involved in this story, and I love that about the series. Lots of sweet romantic moments, some cute banter, lots of hot sex, but some serious angst and a really hold your breath moment. Overall a great read, and series. Would recommend.
