    In the book the MMC is none other than Collin’s and boy does the author showed a side to this series that I never taught she would. It’s was so amazing to read all of the adventures, worries, blossoming love, an unlikely hero, and the best part, lots of steamy moments. This book has it all.     I love a good redemption story. When an author can shine a new light on a misguided or misunderstood character and craft him/her a HEA it’s magical.

    Unfortunately, Collin’s story does not fall into that category for me. To be honest, the first half is quite disturbing. I skipped over most of Collin’s chapters bc they were gross and unnecessary. It goes from detailed psycho thoughts to him being completely “healed” in the span of 2 chapters. There are way too many inner thoughts and we are told how strong their relationship is but you never see it develop. I also really wanted to see Collin take responsibility for his past actions especially with Daria but he doesn’t.

    Honestly, I think 3 stars is probably too generous. I really like Logan and Daria’s series. Read those and skip this one. I wish I would’ve listened to the comments and skipped this one as well.

    I recently found Krista Street books and I have literally dove into all of them. She takes you on a paranormal journey that is so good. Every series I have read of hers I don’t want to end and this book I didn’t want it to end.

    This story is a spin-off from one of the authors other series that follows Collin. I haven’t read the other series yet, but I didn’t feel like I was missing much from not having read that series prior to picking up this book. This story is told from two POVs, both Collin and Brianna. It was great being able to read from both of their views and see how they are mentally handling things. I struggled a bit with Collin and his actions in this book. Brianna on the other hand was a strong, and spitfire chick. I loved her spirit and I enjoyed her inner monologue. There is definitely a lot of steamy romance that happens in this book. I found the fairy world very intriguing and I would love to read more about that particular world.

    I would recommend this book to mature readers 18+ due to some things that happens in the book, and of course if you enjoy werewolves, and steamy paranormal romance reads with complex characters then this book is for you!
