    The Beast Within by the very talented author Lisa Renee Jones is the first book of a new series by nocturne called The Knights Of White. I found it to be a very interesting read and the character developement was quite good, but the story does contain more sex than actual romance, which may be due to the fact that the main characters loved each other in another life. All in all I enjoyed the book very much and look forward to reading more of Lisa Renee Jones' work.

    This story was not for me. I truly struggled to get into the book, I struggled through the book and ended up skipping a lot of pages. It has a good concept, and world. Understanding the plot/characters, following along with it, and relating to the characters I truly struggled with. I would not continue with the series.

    The Beast Within is (1/5) of the Knight's oft White novels.
    It's a "white against the dark" Fantasy novel. Although well written, I couldn't really connect with the story. This is one of those series that'll pull you into it's spell or not. For me it was a bit to shallow. With a bit more love to the details this series could've been so much more ( e.g. Rock's and Marisol's Story or Eva's story with (Adrian?).... So it just scratches on the surface. What a shame.

    The initial idea of this book was good. However, I found it boring and struggled to finish it. The story was too simple, the characters uninteresting and the sex bland. I couldn't feel the chemistry between the main characters so I didn't care much about them. The thing I disliked the most was the connection between Karen and Caron.

    I will not be reading any more books in this series but am willing to try different ones by this author as the writing was good.
