    Logan excepted himself, but didn't like the way he looked he was a chunky man. It didn't matter what the people in his life said he just didn't believe he was beautiful. Then he went to a bar with friends and the bartender, the most gorgeous man he'd ever seen was looking at him according to his friends. Not believing but taking a chance be went to the bar and the bartender called him sweetheart, he thought that was the greeting he gave everyone until he asked him to come back. Caine was a one night stand kind of guy until he heard a bubbling laugh and he wanted to see where it came from and when he spotted the man he decided right then and there he was someone he wanted to know and not just for sex. When he asked Logan for his number and a date Logan thought he was joking, but not only was he for real he showed it. Neither one of them had ever been in a relationship before so before they could start their journey together Caine had to help and make Logan understand that he not only see him but he wanted him,and with Caine's love Logan finally saw what everyone in his life who loved him saw a beautiful man worthy of love.GREAT START TO THE SERIES!!😍😍

    I love books where at least one of the MC is different from the usual twink or meat head. I know most readers are women but if you’ve actually seen into the LGBTQ community you’d see how toxic it can be on image. If your overweight you don’t fit into any image and it’s just really sad.
    While I like how the author tried to incorporate the whole scene. The only problem was Caine for me while his past partners have looked a certain way it’s nearly impossible for him to find someone he’s never found attractive to be attractive to him. These kind of people will only go for someone else who’s outside of their normal if they had some kind of personality trait they’ve lacked or never seen in another person that brings out the best in them. But that’s just in reality and this book is non fiction of course.
    While people are annoyed with Logan’s low self esteem I find it logical in a community where your image doesn’t fit into any category. Like it was said in the beginning men used Logan but never wanted to be with him and that’s sadly the truth. I think it’s hard to come to acceptance of one self in this image but over time you learn to love yourself. Rome wasn’t built in a day.
    Overall book was ok for me just unrealistic but hey if it works for other ppl that’s awesome.

    A solid 2.5. This is more of an insta-love and I do not like those kinds of stories. They are usually just to over the top and don’t give you any real story. Unfortunately, that is what this is, it doesn’t make sense logically speaking because Caine goes from hook-ups always to insta-love, which doesn’t make sense. The only part that I liked was how Logan learns that just because he’s. Bigger man doesn’t mean he isn’t lovable.

    I love this series and this was actually my second read through. I adore Logan and just want to wrap him up in a big hug. He is so sweet and sometimes is very confident, while other times he has a lot of self doubt. When his friends first try and tell him the handsome bar tender is flirting with him he just doesn’t believe them. Then even when the bar tender makes it very clear he is Logan has doubts.

    Caine can’t help but notice Logan when he comes into the bar and he tries flirting with him. It doesn’t go great at first but once Caine is able to get Logan to believe he’s interested they start to have a great time.

    These two men together are just perfect and I love them so much. Caine loves everything about Logan and Logan can’t get enough of Caine. They balance each other out well and they really help each other become better versions of them selves.

    Loved the concept here but the connection between characters was a tad lacking for me. There weren’t really things they liked about each other per se, just insta love. It’s great that Kogan and his insecurities were a least somewhat worked through, I just didn’t feel a lot of connection to the characters.

    I liked how realistic the insecurities were, self image isn't logical and even repeating something doesn't always break through a bad spiral.

    I was not as much of a fan of the pacing. They met and were in love within a week and the magic dick cures a life time of insecurities. It would have made sense to have him seek therapy or something.
    Cain flipping his taste at random without a second thought just made it all too fake.

    I like a story but there's so much potential with this storyline and it's wasted. I waited the whole book for something to happen but nothing really does.

    This story has something in it I love: a main character with a body type not deemed “attractive” by society. Now personally I know that comment is crap but society has set ideals that many of us just don’t or can’t live up to. Logan is struggling with his personal insecurities and it takes a lot of work on Caine’s part to convince him that he is perfect for him. I loved watching these two come together and watching Lane bloom under Caine’s love. If this whole series is like this I will be reading them all. I can’t wait to read Emmett’s story next.

    Insta-love & acceptance. This is fiction & I enjoyed it for the quick fluffy story it is, but Caine, tall, ripped & gorgeous bartender going from bedding sexy twinks every night to wanting a relationship with a chubby, insecure, sweet guy after hearing him laugh, hmm, not buying it.
    I did enjoy all characters & Logan & Caine are sweet & loving together, but I always like a bit of realism in a story & Caine's total about face in one night was so very far from any scope of real.
    So if you are looking for a sweet, no angst, total love fest, fluffy story, you will enjoy this.

    The number one thing I loved about this story is that one of the main characters was not perfect. We get so many 'drop dead gorgeous' ones, it's nice to have a love story with a regular, slightly chubby main character, refreshing even. The first thing that attracted Caine to Logan was his cute giggle that he heard across the bar, then his face, and then his cute cuddly body. These two were gorgeous together, although Logan had one heck of a time believing this trim handsome man wanted him. This is a sweet and touching tale of love and acceptance, a truly lovely read.
