    Beauty and the Boss is everything you want from an Alpha male story and then some. There is love, longing, lust, self doubt, anger, compassion and commitment.

    Stone the COE has been watching Jessa from the shadows since her parents funeral. He has been pulling the strings to get her close and bidding his time.

    Jessa is a beautiful woman who has self doubt and is taken back by Stone's declaration. All she has to do is say what she wants and Stone will make it happen.

    This quick read is a nice addition to the HEA series.

    This was my first book by L. Nicole, I grabbed this one after seeing her name in an upcoming series with some of my favorite authors.

    I had a super soft spot in my heart for Jessa. She is a curvy girl with body insecurities who was publicly humiliated by a coworker/ex boyfriend. She's a total sweetie and I wanted to see her get her HEA.

    Stone has all of those story leading man qualities I like: growly, dominant/possessive, wealthy businessman, setting things up over time in the background to make sure Jessa ended up being his. 🔥🔥🔥

    My only issue with this book was the number of missing words. There were enough that it caught my eye and tripped up my reading flow. But it wasn't such a big deal that I wouldn't consider reading from her again.

    The storyline felt amateur, nothing new about the characters, it's an older man younger girl book which in fairness I don't fancy. But still it felt very rushed, not as captivating as one versions I've read.

    Aside from that,v the story felt rushed, I had more questions than answers, their love story was interesting and very easy to read.
