    This book was so satisfying. Tiziano and Maci were great together. I love mafia romance and Faiman does the genre so well. The saga of Gavino’s Zanetti famiglia continues with this story of Tiziano, who is soon to be the head of a family, and the woman he purchases to be his wife. He is a man who has been cut dearly by love. Maci has had the definition of a hard knock life and has no control over her future. This shouldn’t be an easy connection, but wonderfully- it is.

    Their love is surprisingly sweet and it is refreshing how Tiziano and Maci evolve from strangers to spouses so seemlessly. Not to say danger isn’t lurking- it is definitely a harsh world they reside in and evil forces make them suffer. The story is action packed, tense, and at times brutal, but it does all this without sacrificing any of the great parts of the relationships between (almost) all of the characters. The series keeps getting better and I loved how we get a glimpse of the rest of the characters in the series as well as Faiman’s Savage Beasts.

    I loved this book and I feel like Hayley Faiman is one of the best authors around, and she just keeps getting better.

    It was good to read this book and be back in the Gavino World. It’s always a wild ride with him and his associates. The men are classy, handsome, alpha, and hot like fire. Tiziano is the same even though he starts from a place where he doesn’t really know his strength. He feels damaged in a way due to his past. He hasn’t let himself heal emotionally. Tiziano enters a agreement with Gavino, but he doesn’t take steps to handle his family and things fall sideways. . . . The journey begins there. Now to the mini-story for Mia at the end, I am disappointed that Mia didn’t get her own full story. It would have been so great to see a female in power and in charge. What a open mind Gavino has to make this huge decision. I feel like an opportunity was missed to let a capable woman shine in her own book.

    I’m pretty sure I said this about the last book in this series, but now I think this one is my new favorite book from it!! I loved the storyline and I loved the roadblocks Maci and Tiziano had to overcome in order to be together. There are a couple of Hayley Faiman classic moments that make you wonder if either character would cheat on the other. I’m not going to spoil it, but I can tell you that I got nervous about it LOL We also have some “other woman” drama which got my blood pumping pretty good, and I almost hate how much I ended up loving this other woman in her own little short story at the end of the book. Even though it’s part of a series, you can definitely read this book as a stand-alone, although, if you do read the other ones, you’ll love getting reacquainted with characters from the previous books. Looking forward to more!

    This is a fast story. I wish it had been longer. Mia was an interesting character and this short doesn't give enough about her.
    Mia, after a bad relationship, she ends up as a Madame working for the Zanetti Famiglia. When the boss Gavino offers her the chance at being a Boss and marriage to an unknown, she runs away.
    Elio, a Capo from Italy who comes to America for a new start at the request of Gavino.

    Love this series and can't wait for the next story. Double in this one on Mia and Flip but this one is on Tiziano and his plan to move the Bianchi family under Zanetti. First he need to get married so he has an arrange marriage. Maci is given to the Zanetti family for outstanding debt by her father. Being innocent gives her an edge to marry vs whoring. It begins happy until Tiziano father finds out the truth. The father leaves Tiz in Italy with another mob family and returns Maci back to Zanettj and has their marriage annulled. Wow could not but the book down must read .

    Hayley Faiman, you’ve done it again. This was perfect. You are not afraid to Go There, to make it hurt, and it makes it all so much more worth it in the end. I loved how imperfect Tiziano was, and how he very humbly knew he had to grow and put the work in and did it. He grew up. He’s one of the most unique heroes I’ve seen in a long time. And Maci was so darn sweet- truly his little sugar but such a genuine, kind little soul. I can’t wait for Z7 but don’t want it to end! 😭
