    This was a fast read, but an enjoyable one. Tayla was inspiring starting over to make sure she was taking care of herself physically and mentally. I really liked Bennett. He shows he is more than who he was back in high school. He has to prove himself to Tayla, but boy does he ever! He knows it's the little things that make the biggest impact. Tayla and Bennett sure do have burning hot chemistry. It's a great read to escape for a bit.

    For Tayla to give the only POV, she didn’t come across as the best character for a happy ending. Bennett may have been a bear in high school, but it doesn’t show in anything he does as an adult. Tayla and her family, however, are all sort of awful. In reading, it was hard to ground the events in a sense of place. The characters reference back story as casually as if we were there when these events and references gained meaning.

    Bennett, however, was an expert “mouth,” and he backed it up. Totally saved the story.
