“Some stories had the power to change lives forever. This story changed an entire town". Yet again this author has completely blown me away with this emotional and heartbreaking story! I’m not even sure how to begin to express my feelings about this book. This story had completely taken me by surprise. It was like an emotional roller coaster and nothing could’ve prepared me for the twists and turns this story take. She never seizes to amaze me with her storytelling. This is one of the many reasons why I always enjoy this author’s books. You never know what wild ride she’ll take you on and what surprises she has in store for you. I honestly had a hard time putting this book down because I couldn’t wait to know what was going to happen with these characters. The dual storylines had me on the edge of seat wondering how they would interconnect or if there was any connection at all. It definitely had me guessing the entire time especially when it came to Jared. But when I finally discovered the truth, I was completely blindsided. Just thinking about this story brings out so many emotions that didn’t expect. Before You was so much more than the usual romance. It was a story of hope, love, tragedy and redemption. I cannot recommend it enough. So do yourself a favor and experience this story for yourself!

    This book is something else as in unbelievably good. I couldn't put it down once I started it and when I finished it, I just sat there thinking about it for a while. It took me a few chapters at first to figure who "belongs" to who/which "story". The book opens with two plane passengers sitting beside each other with some definent attraction/moral support developing during a crash landing. These two people are the main characters of what I call "story 1" and also the main characters of the book. Then there's the young lovely married couple, a doctor and his wife, who desperately want to have a baby and start their family but, alas, the wife has fertility problems which is "story 2". It's how these two couple's stories are intertwined that provides the overall plot of the book. There is the anxious excitement of a plane crash, falling in love, fertility problems, personal phobia, disguised identity, and "lies", all to be worked out which makes for a most captivating, compelling, and enjoyable read. Plus, you have to admire Ms. Mann's impeccable writing style which melds all these diverse issues/stories into a comprehensible, cohesive highly entertaining book which I highly recommend and will definitely reread. It's that good!

    Let me tell people who want a well written story book 📖 that will emotionally move you. This story made me happy 🤗 and it made me sad, it made laugh 😂 and it made me cry 😭 I just loved this story. I will go a couple of days looking at a Marni Mann story I know I want to read but I some ARC's (advance reader copies) for other authors I have to read but I have to at least once a week read a Marni Mann book 📚📖 or series. I will give you a review without giving away the story. This is the story of Billie Paige and Jared Morgan. Billie Paige is a food vlogger who lives in New York. She went to NYU and her and her roommate and best friend for five years after college and now she lives close by with her boyfriend turned husband Robert.
    Jared Morgan has Security company he established and has over 300 people working for him. Jared and Billie are on the same flight ✈️ together going to San Francisco and that is where there story begins. While we are reading about their story Marni Mann is telling the story of Honey and Andrew. You will love their story too. Andrew is a doctor who moves to Portland Maine and for reasons maybe of destiny Andrew and Honey find their selves in a relationship. This story is good and I had all kinds of questions about this story. I loved this story and read it in one sitting. I started late last night, after midnight, and finished this story because I couldn't put it down. Good this book 📚📖, it's wonderfully written and will take you on an emotional rollercoaster. This is a Good Read and I recommend this highly.

    I just started reading Marni Mann's books in 2019 when a friend recommended I read When Ashes Fall back in January. I was very impressed with her writing and gift of creating an intriguing story. All of her books have very different kinds of subject matter and romantic themes. All of her characters are complex, the book plots are complicated with twists and turns that keep the readers captivated while turning the pages. By the last few chapters of the book she is wrapping it up with a shocking revelation which validates the happily ever after in a more sincere way. Marni Mann has become one of my favorite authors. I could not wait to read Before You.

    Before You is a different kind of forbidden taboo romance. There is so much more than the older man/ younger woman romance, this is a story of FATE bringing two people together and not allowing them to escape their connection.

    Billie Paige began her normal work routine when she boarded Flight 88. Little did she know that the handsome stranger sitting next to her would become her lifeline. She also didn't know he would become her confidant, her strength, and the love of her life. Age didn't make a difference, Flight 88 was behind them, and their future should have been soaring.  The only problem is Jared has been keeping secrets. Flight 88 was only the beginning of the nightmares which she and Jared Morgan share. Jared is hiding something more than she can handle.

    FATE has a different agenda and will never allow their connections to be broken. They can't change with Fate or their real destiny.

    Marni Mann held me captive while reading this book. The element of horror, suspense, fear, heartbreak is all wrapped up in an unforgettable romance that eventually finds a happily ever after. The journey to the ending was a reading event!

    I highly recommend reading Before You by Marni Mann!

    Well... not sure how to even go about this review. I had such high hopes going into this I mean “When Ashes Fall” is one of my favorite books ever. This didn’t not meet those expectations unfortunately. At one point I so badly wanted to know what the twist was and how Honey’s story connected with Jared and Billies that in my head I kept trying to guess. Honestly my assumptions would of made for a better ending. I felt like nothing happened after the plane crash which was obvi going to happen. All the way until like 85% or so. That’s a lotttt or book for just nothing but dinners and food talk to happen ok...

    This was for sure well written and the characters were like able enough. The twist idk that’s a hard one for someone to get over and irl I dont see it ending the way it did in this book tbh.

    Wow, this book had me addicted from the first page until the last. It's the best kind of puzzle and also very emotional and deep and was written absolutely beautifully. I love Marni Mann, her writing style and the characters she writes are always a joy to explore.

    The characters in this book are very strong but like us all have their problems in life. There is the prologue, then it starts and there are two sets of characters that we follow all the way through the book. I have to say I loved them all equally. They were so real it was easy to connect with them and to become a part of their lives and the problems they were trying to cope with. My heart went out to these couples so much; the emotions were strong all the way through the book, obviously I was waiting for the ball to drop somewhere but when it did I never saw it coming for one minute and that is why I adore this authors work.
    So we live through the turbulent lives of these people through their eyes, each of the characters has a voice and it's told in duel POV for each couple. These problems are real everyday things that can occur to all of us, the high's and the lows were experienced and to be honest I felt like a close friend looking in from the outside. Marni Mann has weaved a web of twist and turns that kept me turning the pages well into the night, I just couldn't put it down, and when that ending came; I so wanted more.

    Exceptional writing and storytelling from one of my go to authors. Brilliant !!!

    This was a nice story but when the truth came to light I wasn't shocked or suprised at the revelation and what major part Jared played in it or the other couple who's story ran parallel to Billie & Jared's and who they were to Billie. A predictable story but still worth a read.
