New York Times & USA Today bestselling author, Emma Hart, has written more than seventy romance novels in the last decade. She loves writing snarky, swoony romcoms with a side of chaos, occasionally venturing into romantic mysteries. Which are exactly the same as her romcoms, just with a dead body or two. That’s the reason for her questionable Internet history—at least that’s the story she’s sticking to.

She lives on a smallholding in North Wales with her husband and their two children, a clowder of very fluffy cats, one giant German Shepherd, and an undisclosed number of chickens and ducks. Don’t ask her to count them. She will not, thank you very much.

When she’s not writing or chasing ducks in her pyjamas, you can find her creating cosy gaming content for her Youtube channel and live streaming on Twitch.

“She was rough around the edges, and so was I. Find me a human who wasn’t a little rough around the edges on the inside. All I hoped was that she’d wake up and realize that her rough edges fit right into mine.” You know the romance reads that make you feel all gooey, happy, and lively inside? Well, that is the kind of romance that Emma Hart writes EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. With almost no effort, she transports her readers to a magical place full of happiness, joy, hilarity, and love. The characters that she creates are so easy to fall for, with their comedic and witty banter and quips. I can never get enough. Sweet, sexy, and hilarious romantic comedies are her bread and butter and I can’t devour them fast enough. It feels like she releases a book every few months, keeping me well and truly satisfied with all of her words! I just LOVE IT! In Best Served Cold, we get both Rae and Chase’s POV which made me so damn happy! Raelynn is just a ball of fire…giving as good as she gets…standing down to nothing and no one. Some might even call her stubborn, but that someone is definitely NOT me! Chase is just so cute and so oblivious to his actions. I don’t know whether I wanted to slap him upside the head or grab him and never let go. Together, these two bring out the best and worst in each other and I loved seeing it all play out. The comedic breaks were, of course, absolutely hilarious! The feelings were right on point. It got emotionally heated…I felt the heartbreak deep in my bones, but you know that amazing happily ever after is coming so there is nothing to worry about. I loved every second of this standalone rom-com and I can’t wait until Ms. Hart wows us again with her next release! *ARC provided by the author*

    Raelynn Fortune is struggling. her business is failing and it is all because of the competition next door. The competition that opened up right after she broke up with it's owner, Chase Aarons. He not only opened up the store but also stole ALL her ideas. That's okay though, she has a plan for revenge that will have her ice cream shop, aptly names Best Served Cold, that will out him out of business.

    Chase Aarons has been waiting for two years for Rae to speak to him. He opened his store next door just to evoke a reaction, yelling, fighting, cursing... anything! But she hasn't said a peep to him for TWO WHOLE YEARS! When the opportunity to help her with her renovations opens up the door for conversations with Rae he jumps at the opportunity. Now if he can just make her understand that what she sees as the ultimate betrayal, he meant as a way to open communication back up with her.

    Well-paced and well-written, sexy and sweet, real and emotional with wonderful secondary characters this was yet another fabulous book from one of my very favorite authors. Enjoy!

    I liked this story even if some things annoyed me like communication. This was about Raelynn & Chase, it drug on some parts but it was still good. For as much as they both had annoyed the crap out of me at some parts, I still enjoyed this book. To be honest I feel like this story was missing something. I thought they were cute together, especially with fixing up her store. It's hard to leave a spoiler free review but I enjoyed it, even if I didnt enjoy it as much as some of the authors other books. So if you like this author as much as I do then I suggest you read it. Reading this book made me want to just eat ice cream all the time.

    I adored this book. It was so fun and flirty, quirky and adorable. I’m GUSHING over Chase and Raelynn. They have the best kind of banter and love/hate relationship.
    I mean seriously I want to walk into Best served cold just to see them, and taste the magical ice cream. I couldn’t get enough of this story. every argument, every lip bite, every clumsy accident, and every kiss. I just LOVE THIS BOOK!

    With every page I smiled. With every kiss I swooned.
    If you want a book that makes you laugh and smile this is it.
    It’s just such a feel good fun loving ridiculously adorable read.

    Phenomenal writing. Emma always has the best stories. Rom Coms are my favorite and she never disappoints. Also have you seen her covers? I mean seriously she has the MOST UNIQUE AND FUN COVERS EVERRRRR!

    I so love this author! I had planned on a one day reading of this. So so good. Oh the snark, I adore the snark! I ended up with the worst stomach virus. Didnt get my one day read in. Now that Gatorade stayed down I had to finish. Loved it so much. Seriously the whole animal conversation is something that would happen between my husband and me. I think that is why I love her books so much. The characters are either just like yourself or like someone in your life. And the grandparents, ahhhhhh I just love them in each of her books. They are hilarious and ridiculous all in one. They are also so different in each books. Loved everything. Even the kitten's name. I am sad I am done reading it. Amazing book.

    First of all, this cover is absolutely beau-ti-ful!! I love all these pastel colors, fits that book a lot! It doesn’t always have to be a half naked person on it. Just my humble opinion!

    When she decides to renovate her ice cream store she knows things will be better, but she is accident prone and
    Chase seems to keep popping up and causing a lot of her accidents then sticking around to help her. He is up to something, but she cannot figure out what.

    Chase is determined to get back what he wants and that is Rae. These two have a hilarious time add in a meddling friend and sister and it makes for a brilliant story.

The heroine is determined to invent the best icecream ever, and while doing so, she falls in love again with a guy she left a few years ago. How they fall in love again is cute. But the best thing are the ice cream descriptions ... a fantastic read.
