It's time to DISH! I love Emma Hart's books. Hardcore. Filled with snark and sass, her heroines are some of my favorites to read ever. And her heroes...always so swoony and sexy and WHEW! I'm always in for an enemies to lovers romance, but this is one mixed with a second chance romance as well! Tension-filled and sweet as can be, this new romance from Hart is a treat! Raelynn loves her ice cream shop, Best Served Cold, but what its missing is her every dream aspect since the jerk next door opened. Chase was her best friend and boyfriend; she loved him and told him all her dreams of what her shop could become. Until life got in the way and under the pressure she decided a relationship wasn't in the cards for herself. Now, seemingly as revenge, Chase opened an ice cream shop right next door and its got everything she told him her future would hold. Stealing her heart is one thing, but stealing her customers and breaking her heart in the process is nigh unforgivable. Now with a kick in the pants, Raelynn is creating a new look for Best Served Cold filled with magic and wonder. But after two years of ignoring Chase and his stealing ways, now he wants back in. Is it the temptation of Raelynn and her charm or does he just want to win? Chase is an idiot. He knows that and fully admits it to himself. Stealing his girl's idea for an ice cream shop and opening it next door maybe not the best plan to win her back...like at all. But in his defense he just wanted something so drastic that Raelynn would finally talk to him. He hadn't planned on two years of cold, insufferable silence. But now Rae seems to be refreshing her own shop and Chase sees it as a chance to break down her walls once more. Change is good they say. But Rae is going to be hard to crack when she's already heartbroken; and she doesn't even know the truth of why he opened the shop! Figuring his way back in to her heart is going to take more than just romance, it's gunna take guts to admit the truth to the one person he's hurt and risk it all again. Raelynn may just be my new hero. She is sooooo snarky and her attitude towards Chase gives me life. I love that this was not an easy romance. Chase truly has some huge obstacles to overcome that you don't often see in contemporary romances. Hes done something so personally hurtful to Raelynn that even I had a hard time forgiving and i knew why he did it! The push and pull between them is so entertaining; moments of anger mixed with confusion as to memories of their past relationship just makes for good drama. I honestly wasn't sure just how Chase could win back Rae's affections but the slow burn is worth the wait!

    Raelynn Fortune is struggling. her business is failing and it is all because of the competition next door. The competition that opened up right after she broke up with it's owner, Chase Aarons. He not only opened up the store but also stole ALL her ideas. That's okay though, she has a plan for revenge that will have her ice cream shop, aptly names Best Served Cold, that will out him out of business.

    Chase Aarons has been waiting for two years for Rae to speak to him. He opened his store next door just to evoke a reaction, yelling, fighting, cursing... anything! But she hasn't said a peep to him for TWO WHOLE YEARS! When the opportunity to help her with her renovations opens up the door for conversations with Rae he jumps at the opportunity. Now if he can just make her understand that what she sees as the ultimate betrayal, he meant as a way to open communication back up with her.

    Well-paced and well-written, sexy and sweet, real and emotional with wonderful secondary characters this was yet another fabulous book from one of my very favorite authors. Enjoy!

    I adored this book. It was so fun and flirty, quirky and adorable. I’m GUSHING over Chase and Raelynn. They have the best kind of banter and love/hate relationship.
    I mean seriously I want to walk into Best served cold just to see them, and taste the magical ice cream. I couldn’t get enough of this story. every argument, every lip bite, every clumsy accident, and every kiss. I just LOVE THIS BOOK!

    If you want a book that makes you laugh and smile this is it.

    I liked this story even if some things annoyed me like communication. This was about Raelynn & Chase, it drug on some parts but it was still good. For as much as they both had annoyed the crap out of me at some parts, I still enjoyed this book. To be honest I feel like this story was missing something. I thought they were cute together, especially with fixing up her store. It's hard to leave a spoiler free review but I enjoyed it, even if I didnt enjoy it as much as some of the authors other books. So if you like this author as much as I do then I suggest you read it. Reading this book made me want to just eat ice cream all the time.

Now that Gatorade stayed down I had to finish. Loved it so much. Seriously the whole animal conversation is something that would happen between my husband and me. I think that is why I love her books so much. The characters are either just like yourself or like someone in your life. And the grandparents, ahhhhhh I just love them in each of her books. They are hilarious and ridiculous all in one. They are also so different in each books. Loved everything. Even the kitten's name. I am sad I am done reading it. Amazing book.
