    This book picks up right after the ending of book one, so please make sure to read that one first.

    Bria has to make some difficult decisions as she works on healing herself. There is still a lot of miscommunication between Damien and Bria, which is slowly resolved as the book progresses.

    Since this is part of a trilogy, not everything is resolved by the end of this book.

    Bria knows she’s done everything she can with leaving the past behind and realising that she hurt people as much as she was hurt, but she knows she stronger and there’s only one part of her past to leave behind now, Damien.
    Realising that Bria wasn’t going to listen, Damien knows he hasn’t a choice but to take her to an island to prove to her she is the one he loves and wants, he knows she’s holding onto the past, he can’t change that but he’s going to show her it’s only her his heart wants, but Bria continues to hurt him, so he does the one thing he never wanted to do, he sets her free, hoping that they can start again with a Healing Love.
    They have some blissful times, but they know they have to talk about things they have been avoiding, they have to move on and then they will find out if their love is enough. They know they love each other but can they ever find a way to ever live together. They talk through things and love on the island, but what happens when they have to face the reality when they get back and everyone in it.

    Healing Love, book two of the Forever Us trilogy, starts off where book one ends.

    Not as heartbreaking or angsty as the first one, this second book has the characters working on themselves, and trying to make their way back to each other. The author does a fantastic job at exploring relationships, and readers can take away many useful lessons from the relationships.

    Alex's character surprised me towards the end, and I'm hoping more will be revealed about him in the final book - which I am anxious to read. Looking foward to seeing how this story ends ❤
