    This is the fourth book in this series and is Flip and Chloe’s story. Flip is a wealthy playboy from a troubled family, and Chloe is a supermodel, who often feels that she is unlovable. These two are complex characters, and mutually agree that they dislike each other, and hope that a night spent together with get rid of the tension out of their systems. The chemistry between these two is combustible and undeniable, but is one going to be enough? This is a good story which is emotionally charged, with sexual tension, twists, passion, and is a steamy and all-consuming page turner. The only downside, and this is my opinion only, is that the story felt a tad disjointed at times. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.

    Tarnished Love is my first book by Bianca Borell. This is the fourth book in the Forever Us series; I suggest you read books 1-3 first. It took me a while to understand who all the characters were. There’s a whole lot of back story that was hard to follow.

    As far as the story itself, it was a lot of push and pull between Chloe and Fillip. I was on board with all of it until there was an incident with Fillip at about the 90% mark that baffled me. After that it was hard for me to root for him.

    Overall the book was good. I would’ve liked to have known it wasn’t a standalone.

    This is not a stand alone. If you want to have a clue I suggest reading books 1-3. I had no idea what I was going on. I skimmed through the end to find out what happens

    Flip is very concerned about his sister Bria who's had a stormy relationship with Damien Filip's friend. When Bria and Damien broke up it damaged both of them emotionally. Damien has a close female friend, supermodel Chloe whom he uses to get revenge on his ex. Then there's Damien's sister Sophia who has a secret affair with some mystery man. Both of them have trust issues and have a hard being loved as well as loving others. But for them, one night was never going to be enough. They end up having an affair.

    Tarnished Love is an enemies to lovers romance featuring Filip, a wealthy player with a troubled family history, and Chloe, an independent supermodel who feels she is unworthy of being loved. The characters are at odds with each other until the sexual tension is too much for them. They agree to a one night fling but it only stokes the flames of passion. This is a great book with complex characters and a story line with mistrust, family drama, and steamy passion.

    I knew I would love this story the moment we got a glimpse of Filip and Chloe in the Forever Us Trilogy. Reading how broken Filip seemed over his sister and Damien and basically swearing off love all together made me know this would be a great self discovery love story.

    I enjoyed getting to read more into Chloe’s upbringing after getting glimpses from Damien in the trilogy and learning how that affected her career, and self confidence made me truly feel for. I love how it didn’t stop her from standing up to Filip though.

    The concept of the book itself was intriguing and piqued my interest with Chloe and Filip’s story. I really tried my best to enjoy this book more but it felt like something was missing from the characters and plot. Each character deals with their own problems in their own ways but a lot of the time they come off as snobby characters that aren’t relatable at all. I think there’s a lot of potential here with the series, as the concept is interesting and just needs to be refined a little more!
